This XQD card reader works as expected
I tested the reader with a 32 GByte Sony XQD card and it work perfectly on a Windows 11 system.

Great item
It's working as advertised. The connected adapter is a game changer now that my MacBook Pro only has usb-c plugs.

SD slot - the card goes label down. XQD slot - the card goes label up.
The XQD card goes in label up (so it faces you), but the SD card goes in the opposite way... label down (facing away from you).I was putting both cards (XQD & SD) into the reader with the label up (labels facing me) and the XQD card went in fine but the SD card would not go into it's slot. I didn't want to force it in so I showed it to my husband.He looked into the reader slot and saw that the pins went upward in the SD slot so he flipped the SD card over (label down) & it then went into the slot with no problem. He said the manufacturer mounted both memory card connectors on opposite sides of the same PCB so one is upside down. Thought I would mention it so others don't run into the same problem and think, like I did, that they got the wrong item.The reader works fine, it uploaded photos from both memory cards to the computer easily.

Is one of those things that you get because it is "larger" and that looks like it will have more electronics but does not. It could be half the size. It is really USB 3, but the reading speed from the SD is slower than a Samsung reader for some reason. And I get the error that the USB was disconnected from the phone while transferring large files. I still think it is a decent reader, but not much better than the cheaper unbranded ones.
