The pad slips around but it's still great
I needed something to prop my feet up for sitting at my desk 8 hours a day Monday through Friday. However, the padding on it slips around because it comes loose. So I have to constantly tighten it unfortunately. But I do love it and I love that I can adjust it to my settings cuz I have short legs so I have to have it higher. But it is comfortable and it does help. My tailbone feel better from sitting in a chair all day.

Sturdy with good adjustability
Owned this product for about 2 and half years. I liked it. It offers good adjustability and the cushion is comfortable. I work from home so this foot rest would be used daily. The top of it broke in the last few months. The plastic frame on the top piece cracked in two places so now when I use the foot rest it sags significantly. But as I mentioned I used it daily for a bit over two years so your mileage may vary.

Easy to use and comfortable
Had for over a month now, really like it. Easy to change the angle of it, and locks in place just fine. I probably press too hard on it at times, but it still holds up just fine. Pillow top is conformable, and hasn't "flattened" yet, and I use it 10+ hours a day.Only weird quirk, the bottom metal base has slightly bent, probably from the force of me pushing. But doesn't affect its usability.Update at 5 months:Still love it, I don't even "think" about it anymore, it's just a part of my desk setup. Wouldn't feel right without it now. Base hasn't bent any more, just a bit as I mentioned in my first review above.Update at 1.5 years:Works exactly as it did brand new, my feet still rest on it nearly all day, pressing quite hard at times. Simple upgrade I did was to add a little velcro strip between the pillow top and the base just so the pillowtop stays in one place better. Otherwise, still love it and works perfectly.Update at 2.5 years:This beast is still an amazing champ of a footrest. Mechanically this this is perfect, even with the heavy leadfoot weight I have pushed onto this thing. The metal plate I mentioned before that kinda warped, well that hasn't gotten any worse, and it's not any hinderance to me either way. Still works amazing.HOWEVER! Finally the leather-type material covering the cushion has over the last 6 months started to break apart. It now looks like an old 1980's fake leather couch that is splitting all over. But, even still, it is comfortable and I would 100% still recommend this. Amplifies your computer veg-time greatly!

Collapses
My wife and I recently purchased a new couch and loveseat set. My wife is short, and she was unable to sit on the loveseat and rest her feet on the floor. I bought this footrest to essentially raise the floor three inches. I adjusted the footrest to the lowest setting, but it does not lock in place and collapses. I wrote to the manufacturer asking for a solution and was told they are aware of the collapsing issue at the lowest setting. They are working on a solution. I had to use two wooden wedges to lock the adjustment mechanism. The unit works fine at the higher-level settings.

Second broken unit in 2 years! No CS!
This is the second I’ve had to buy in as many years. This is JUST past the return period (six weeks after first replacement purchase. The base fastener screws pull away from the cheap injection-molded plastic (see pics) then they blow out & it’s unusable AGAIN.The company offers only a constrained option of “troubleshooting,” and no way to contact them for a bad product. Fool me once … fool me TWICE? I guess that’s their game here. VERY upset, disappointed, & feel scammed. I want a REFUND. UNACCEPTABLE!

Smaller than expected, but a good choice for a footrest
I like the fact that this foot rest has multiple positions to ensure that you get the leg rest the way you want it. It is a little lower than I expected, but it still does the job

4 months of use and I still love it!
I use it to elevate my legs in our van. It's especially amazing on long drives. I feel like such a passenger princess and I ove it! I have back problems so it helps to be able to recline my seat and elevate my legs. I feel like I'm in a lazyboy at home. I've been using it for 4 months and I'm so happy with it. Thinking about taking it on a plane for a long haul flight.

Slides around like crazy on tile floor. Lowest height settings won't stay fixed.
This thing has rubber feet to (presumably) keep it from sliding around, but it also has little hard plastic bumps on the bottom, and the plastic bumps are taller than the rubber feet, so it slides all over the place on tile. I used a utility knife to cut off the plastic bumps, which helped with that issue. Now the rubber feet make contact with the tile. It does still tend to slide around a little too easily, but it's better. It has two sets of hinges (front and back), each with four different angle settings. If you want it level, you can increase the height by raising both sets of hinges to the same setting. If you want an angle, you can raise just one set of hinges. That seems reasonable, but read on.The lowest setting on both sets of hinges seems to be designed to collapse on a spring mechanism. If you raise one or both sets of hinges and put much weight on it, the whole thing will shrink back to the base height. If you raise both sets of hinges to the second, third, or fourth notch, they stay in place, but as far as I can tell there is no way to get it to stay in place at the first height notch. Unfortunately, this is the height that *would* work for me.I think the spring feature is interesting, and if it could be controlled independently of height, I might like it, but since it interferes with my ability to set and maintain the height I need, the whole thing is more or less useless. As other reviews have mentioned, the pads that come pre-attached don't really stay in place. They're held on by velcro straps, and I wasn't able to get them to stop sliding around, so I ended up removing them.I bought two of these, and after fighting with them for months trying to get them to meet my needs, I'm looking for something to replace them. I can't recommend this item in good conscience.
