Just had this a few days and found it to be a real plus for keeping my ipod Classics functional. So happy to have another product that enhances the 30-pin infrastructure i invested in over the years — before it was Suddenly rendered as “obsolete” with Apple’s jump to lightning connection. It took a bit of patience the first time pairing this unit with The bluetooth Amp I am powering my outdoor speakers with, but it got there after some effort. It sounds quite good. The second time it seemed to pair quickly. A few hiccups then as i tried to utilize the splitter function and have it pair with second receiver (a coolstream insert onto an altec lansing boombox) that gave me a nice broad soundstage and enhanced the music further. I will see how things proceed from here regarding durability and power drain issues. But for now, this was a great purchase. Kudos to the company for keeping this alive.

Worked the first time I tried it but then never worked again. Tried and tried and tried and right about the time I wanted to put it through a wall I elected to return it.

Bicycling in the city is dangerous and loud. I wanted a way to listen to music while riding my bike, but I did not want to use headphones or earbuds, as I like knowing when a car is behind me, especially at night when drivers forget to turn on their lights. I purchased a JBL Touch (portable bluetooth speaker) and attached it to my bicycle. I had to turn both the speaker and my iPod touch volume all the way up to hear my music over medium traffic. Now with this amazing little device I have two JBL Touches connected to my iPod touch and all three running at 3/4 full volume. I can hear my music loud and clear in heavy traffic and when I pass by or under freeways! The instructions are simple to follow. Remember like it says, if the device you are streaming music from has bluetooth built in, turn it off before you plug the bluetooth multi stream device in. I would recommend this little device to anyone looking to play music from their iPod classic, iPod Touch or iPhone to any one or more bluetooth music listening devices.PROS:- Tiny (Its not some clunky addition to your iPod or iPhone)- Easy to pair with single and multiple devices.- Minimal battery usage. (Especially for the what this little device is doing)CONS:- Tiny (This device is really small and not cheap. Don't misplace it.)- Sometimes I have to unplug it once and plug it back in to get it to pair with the first device. Not a big issue. Takes less than a minute to fix. Just unplug multi stream device and plug back in.

This KOKKIA i10 Multi-Streaming Bluetooth iPod Transmitter is exactly what I needed. I have an Apple iPod (5th Generation) ‑ 60GB that was just sitting around and not being used. At about $60.00 this Bluetooth transmitter is not cheap but this one could stream to 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time. I have a Bluetooth speaker, a Bluetooth headphone and quite a few Bluetooth earbuds. I have tried quite a few of them and they all paired up. Pairing the first and second ones was very fast without any issue. Adding the third one took a little longer. Going back to pair the first one took longer but it pairs fine once it was paired again.I am getting a range of a bit over 20 ft. I think the manual said within 10 meters but I have not tried at the edge of the range. This Bluetooth transmitter is very small and has a lower profile than all others. This unit does not have power on/off button. So, the blue light would blink for a while until the iPod powers off. It powers on as soon as the unit is plugged into the iPod. There is a button on this unit. Pressing it would disconnect the Bluetooth connection. I found that the quickest way to reconnect is to power off the devices and power them back on. The devices would quickly found my iPod after they are powered back on.In retrospect, maybe I should have gotten a Bluetooth transmitter using the 3.5 mm plug instead of the 30-pin one. The reason is the I have to unplug this unit to charge my iPod. However, this I can live with as I really like the small size.

I have a older iPod that does not have bluetooth....this solved that! Works great! I use it at work - walking around and leave my iPod at my desk (bluetooth earbuds), not sure what the exact range is, but works easily up to 8-10 feet away. It does not come with instructions, but still easy to figure out. My only reason for not rating it higher is that if you have multiple items that you sync with another device (such as iPhone or wireless speakers) - it is picky on which one is turned on first. You turn on KOKKIA device first and then the other device. Did not have a problem when it was just the one device, it only started when I used multiple devices and switched back and forth. Overall, a definite good purchase and I am happy.

This product met my needs perfectly. So cool to have such a small device provide so much opportunity in my musical world with my wife. We can now watch movies together on the iPad and dance without ever having to wake the kids!The one thing I would want to educate people further on is that you have to DISABLE YOUR BLUETOOTH RECEIVER IN YOUR IPAD SETTINGS FIRST. If you don't, it won't work. The bluetooth receivers conflict with each other and throw your iPad out of whack to the point to where you don't think the KOKKIA i10 is going to work. But it does work. :) Once your iPad built-in bluetooth is turned off, the KOKKIA i10 works great. That's the one thing I would improve on the product is that the directions should explain this a little better.Most definitely would recommend this product for musically oriented couples and families out there!
