Folkmanis Monkey Hand Puppet

This monkey is perfect. People say his mouth is hard to move but in reality you just need to know some basic puppetry stuff. Some fur does come off when new so I recommend just trying to pluck off all loose fur before using it

Adorable and better than the pictures

This little monkey is my son's best friend. He calls him "ah-ah" and he's been around since my son was 6 months old. He really took a liking to this guy and he drags him around everywhere he goes. He's now 3 years old and "ah-ah" is still holding up very well. He's getting pretty ragged and worn but he's still in once piece despite all the rough playing and constant snuggling. This puppet is seriously like a family member to us. We lost him at daycare one day and it was extremely difficult for the whole family. It seriously felt like losing a family dog or something. We had bought an exact duplicate backup monkey, aka "ah-ah's brother", for just such an emergency but he could tell the difference and really didn't want anything to do with him. Thankfully, the daycare found the original ah-ah the very next day stuffed in a toy box somewhere. I'm not sure what it is about this monkey, but he really is quite awesome. He's really soft and he's the perfect size for a toddler or young child. I find it quite difficult to use him as an actual puppet because he's so small, but he's the perfect size for little hands. I highly recommend him!

We like the old style better. We had an old one and it’s mouth was softer in the inside and slightly bigger too. We still having a good time with it. The hair doesn’t come up and it’s soft.

I bought this monkey puppet three years ago for my one-year-old grandson. It has been my grandson's favorite "toy" to this day. He's named it Jake and cares more about Jake than anyone else. He does not use it as a puppet because I don't think he has the hand coordination. However, he makes me use it ("Put you hand up Jake's butt.") and I have to talk in a high squeaky voice. He treats Jake like a little brother (which I encourage) and tells him he loves him but often pounds him, swings him by the tail, and otherwise abuses him. The monkey has held up in almost new condition through three year's of acrobatics and nightly sleeping.

We love our cheeky monkey!!! My 3 yr old daughter loves introducing everyone to her monkey and she uses the puppet really well even for her little hands. My husband and I can still use the puppet too. It is so so soft and great quality. We will cherish this monkey for a long time!!

Monkbert, as we call him, is a wonderful little guy! He arrived ready to play and cuddle (and shed a little, but only for the first couple of days). He's very fun as a puppet -- his lopsided grin gives him so much personality! -- but is just as good "off-hand" as a snuggle buddy. Sometimes he can be a bit mischievous, but at heart he's incredibly sweet. One night, I came home from a long, miserable day, and when I walked in the room, Monkbert suddenly popped up (with a little help, of course), waving his little monkey hands and smiling, and all of my stress and aggravation was gone. おもちゃ美術館に置いてあったので9ヶ月の娘の食いつきがすごくて、クリスマスプレゼントに。 ぬいぐるみが動くのが大好きみたいでキャッキャ言いながら喜んでます。 毛が抜けやすいのが、難点ですかね。
