Don't Ask, Don't Tell (Urban Books)

This was a great read. Wasn't sure how the authors would present a sensitive subject such as this but it was done tastefully. The sexual content was erotic without going overboard. Without giving away any spoilers my heart went to General ;) These stories could really be based on truth life experiences.

The first story was cool .I tried hard to get into the other stories but they were just to Dumb #Boring. I finally threw the book in the garbage. Again a Gamble I had to take what a bummer.

Although I am not typically a fan of short stories, I genuinely enjoyed this book. All four stories were well written, with great plots and developed characters. Although A Dishonorable Discharge by MT Pope was my favorite story, all four were great and could have easily been developed into full length novels. Definitely a great read that I would recommend. You will empathize with the characters and the stories will leave you wanting more!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, spend your money on this drivel. If you are so inclined to read one page of it, I advise you to read it as Unlimited. I am so grateful that I did because if I had spent my money on this, I wouldn’t just demand a refund, I’d write to the authors and demand restitution for time wasted. “A Dishonorable Discharge” by MT Pope was absolutely crazy, and was filled with one shock after another, but it was a halfway decent read. Those 2 Stepford Wives were about to drive me up a wall, though.“Better Not Tell” by Tina Brooks McKinney, WOW. That’s about all I can say right now. I had assumed that this book was all about how Lauren and Anji met and fell in love, and was fully prepared to talk about how it didn’t even seem feasible or believable, especially with 2 such painfully irritating young ladies. But what I got was not even close to what I expected. SPOILER: 1 MC dies, the other has a dream shattered. I could’ve been done something better, like buttering toast. With “Hush” by Brenda Hampton, I honestly cannot recall the last time I read a book where I hated every character in it. Yes, every single character. They were all either sneaky, ignorant, trifling, or some combination of 2 out of the 3. Giant waste of time. As for “When Duty Calls” by Terry E. Hill: WTF WAS THIS?!?!? Unless you enjoy being PO’d, DO NOT read this hot mess, this farce posing a story. By the end I was thinking this writer must hate M/M relationships. One good guy dies, the other becomes a wimp with his soul (and spine) sucked out by the demon he’s married to, and evil triumphs over all. Again I ask, WTF?!? This story alone just ruined my day.
