I got addicted to drinking tea in Africa...British style with cream and sugar...and strengthened that addiction spending time in London. When I got back to the States I was disappointed that the tea didn’t taste as good as I’d been drinking. Spent years having friends in Zimbabwe supply me with tea. Then I tried this Tetley blend and I’ve been drinking it even since! It’s wonderful!!

This tea is so much better than anything you can get in the USA that is not a premium tea. And it costs about half as much as those. The tea bags are large; each one makes 2 cups of tea. The boxes hold a lot of bags, so they go a long way. Every Tetely tea I have tried is far superior to our stuff - like Lipton. Lipton used to be decent, but has no flavor now. Not a big deal that it comes from the UK, and you get free shipping. (Maybe that is just prime...?) I drink this tea daily.

I received my tea boxes and each box is full of tea dust in and out of the box, the tea has very little scent and almost no flavour when brewed it seems very old and stale. The expiration date is not for two years from now.... Tetley British Blend is my favorite tea, when I buy it at the store it is different and tastes and smells much better. This amazon tea just doesn't have that special something that it does when store bought? That being said it gets the job done somewhat ok and is a lot of tea for the money!

Several weeks back, I tried a variety of black (and smoked) teas for a blog posting. I had cut back on coffee and was drinking more tea. I have come away with this as my favorite. I used to drink Bigelows, but this tops that one in taste, quality, and price. I like this tea so much that I have just about completely given up coffee. This has a nice strong flavor without being bitter. If I were to relate this to coffee, this would be in the Dark Roast/Robust variety. The bag makes all the difference. (Also, I recently read that brewing the tea in a microwave releases more of the tannins and good stuff into the water.)

I love Tetley tea, it have a wonderful spicy undertone that just sets it apart. The tea I received through amazon is 100% tasteless! I’m so upset and disheartened. Don’t waste your money!

I've purchased this twice from Amazon. Both times I got good tea and good value. Only downside was that every box was loaded with tea dust; no harm, just a bit unsightly. Now I see the price has gone up (over $4 box). At the same time it was on sale in my supermarket for half that -- so I went with the supermarket option. From the supermarket I got a somewhat different size box although identically labeled. Inside, there are two sealed foil pouches, each with 40 tea bags; this seemed a nice touch and better than the 80 loose bags in the Amazon box. However, this supermarket tea does NOT have the robust body of the tea that came from Amazon. I've read some reviews here that say the tea they got was flavorless -- so as I say, take your chances. Source doesn't seem to matter. And price may not be indicative of what you'll get either. Given the pandemic, I can't take my unopened tea back to the supermarket, they stopped accepting all returns back in March! So I'm stuck with a watered down version of what I used to have.

I have been drinking this tea since I was a little girl. It was easy to find when I lived on the East coast. After I moved to the west coast I found it difficult to find. I would find it here and there and stockpile what I could. At one point, I actually had to order from across the pond when my local grocer no longer stocked it. Well, very recently, I discovered that my local grocer once again stopped selling it. Needless to say, I am NOT going with out my daily cup of tea and no other brand will do! I ordered the British blend(round) . It makes a really robust cup of tea. With my pack of 6, I will be happy though 480 cups to be exact!

I've been buying these for years & this is the first time they've been full of dust. They don't look very appetizing. Will buy from another store in future.
