EZoneTronics Carplay Radio Android Car Stereo for Honda CRV 2007-2011

I don't often write reviews, but sometimes if something is either really bad or in this case truly excellent, I will metaphorically put pen to paper and compose one.This bit of kit is very easy to fit, and really looks the part in the vehicle, it even has an OE colour and texture plastic bezel which fits into the dash perfectly and looks like it came directly from Honda.The majority of the setup was surprisingly easy, and once I'd worked out how to perform the steering wheel button learning (not very intuitive) it's absolutely brilliant!All OE functions work as expected, plus now has the added bonus of Android Auto!Sound quality is great for the price (slightly better than OE head unit), and it impressed me with it's clarity and power.I'm surprised how such a brilliant bit of kit can be such good value!

Overall, I had high hopes for the Android Car Radio Stereo, but unfortunately, I cannot fully recommend it. While it does have some great features and modernise the look of my old Honda, there are some significant issues that make it difficult to use.First, the installation process is pretty straightforward, and the unit looks great once installed. However, I found that seven of my car's connectors did not connect to the new unit, meaning that the rear parking camera and steering wheel buttons were not functional. I contacted the seller, and while they were responsive at first, they did not provide a satisfactory solution.Additionally, the unit is noticeably slower than modern smartphones, making it frustrating to navigate while driving. Even popular navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze are extremely laggy and take a long time to load, making them unusable while on the road. The only viable option for navigation is the Z-link App, which mirrors your phone's display.One cool feature of the Android stereo is the ability to download different launchers and customize the interface to your liking. However, when you start the car, you first see the old interface before a sluggish change to your chosen launcher.On the positive side, the unit does allow you to listen to music from a flash drive or copy it to the unit. However, the sound quality is not as crisp as the original stereo.In conclusion, while the Android Car Radio Stereo has some interesting features and modernizes the look of your car's interior, the significant issues with lagging, crashing, and the rear camera and steering wheel buttons not functioning make it difficult to recommend as an upgrade.

the installation was relatively easy, the quality of it is pretty good and makes the car seem 10x more modern but it does not have any sort of anti theft protection. luckily the sound quality didn’t change and was kept the same. the screen quality is really nice but if you do pair bluetooth to an android or iphone it can be a bit laggy. personally i think it’s quite pricey for the product. A lot of missing adapters leading the rear view camera to not work, buttons on the steering wheel and for AC/heating. For apple carplay when playing music sometimes it can be a bit laggy which is extremely annoying, the sound cuts off or the music stops playing so i deeply recommend to not pair an android after pairing an iphone as the system prioritizes androids. it may be because the adapter for the radio was missing and wasn’t installed. Other than that it’s super easy to handle and has been working like it’s said it would. When buying i’d consider what your main priority is as the adapter for GPS, radio, heating/AC, wheel buttons and rear view camera is NOT INCLUDED.

I am extremely surprised and delighted to see that someone can care so much to make a product, which exactly fits a car that was manufactured 11 years back, absolutely beautiful.I ordered this for my car, but could not get it connected so returned the product and let the seller know the reason, They suggested that there are different wires for my car and they delivered the cable free of cost to me so I ordered it again. I am hoping that the new cables will fit well and I will be able to use this system as a replacement for the previous one.The support team is excellent and cares for your needs. Thank you so much. Radio is terrible even after purchasing a booster & adding a new antenna , it’s still terrible reception !!!!Reverse camera tried to install but not identified which is trigger wire on console x 3 blue wires no identificationCan anyone help with both please ?

I am on my second unit. The first one had to be returned due to a faulty hazard warning switch, but I returned it and was refunded. No problems with communication with Amazon and the company during that period. The unit performs well. Good display, good sound, Bluetooth fine, good Google Maps. Bit of an issue synchronising the time, but given it’s an aftermarket thing made in China, can’t complain. On the whole it looks the part and performs really well.

2009 Honda crv. Steering wheel controls do not work, pairs to an android phone but not Iphone. But then drops connection to Android phone and still refuses connection to iphone. Unable to get a reply regarding the cables needed for steering wheel controls to work.Would avoid

Ottimo prodotto.Lo consiglio. La radio si sente benissimo.Il nome delle stazioni radio si vedono.L'unico problela che senza il microfono esterno quando telefono mi sentono malissimo. È possibile aggiungere il microfono esterno?

J'étais content de commander cet écran pour moderniser mon crv 3 2.2 ictdi finition luxury. Mais je suis déçu après l'installation , pas de notice en français . Dans le descriptif il es préciser que je garderai les commande au volant et la caméra de recul hor je n'es plus c'est deux fonction . Je suis déçu et je vais donc demander un remboursement et vous le renvoyer. 🤬
