I am a heavy technology user, which means I have accumulated a large bin full of all kinds of cables. I bought these to bring some order to that chaos. There is a lot to like here. The multiple colors make it easy to identify different cable types at a glance, and the Velcro design is convenient and reusable. The straps themselves are very substantial, actually more substantial than I need for most of the cables I am storing. They are large enough to handle extension cords, which is both a plus and, for smaller cables, a bit of overkill. I do wish the Velcro held a little more securely right from the start. Once wrapped around a few times it holds fine, but getting the first wrap started can be a bit awkward. Overall, this is a good product and has helped a lot with cable organization, even if it is not quite as refined as I would have preferred.

So, you can be one of two types of laptop user. One who has a bag full of cables jumbled up in knots like, a plate of spaghetti, or you can have your cables organized with Velcro straps. Why not off brand straps, aren't they just as good? In my experienced opinion, no. Velcro straps provide a much better hold the lasts longer through more uses, and the loop end, where you fit the strap around the cable so the strap stays connected to the cable, allows for the excess to bend over and lock the cable in the strap. This way the Velcro strap doesn't loosen up and the cable falls out resulting in a list strap. The straps are long enough for almost every cable and nothing is easier to use than Velcro. My only word of warning is, use these with caution with textile covered wires. Velcro will pull threads. Also, keep away from Silk ties for this same reason.

As others have said, they are a little hard to tear off of the roll. But, otherwise, they are great. Lots of them & finding many cords to use them on.

I love these rolls of velcro ties. I had a drawer full of dozens of various USB charging cords of various types and lengths. How to organize and clean up thas spaghetti mess? Roll up the cords on your knuckles, but how to secure it easily? Both rubber bands and twist ties are cheap and ubiquitous, but rubber bands dry out and fall apart over time. Twist ties are a pain to twist on and off every time I want to use a particular cord. Enter reusable easy to wrap on and off velcro strips. You get 60, 10 each of various colors... comes to about a quarter a strip. Not super cheap, but once you use them, you keep on reusing them. They don't wear out. They tie any bundle from the size of your little finger to something as large as a small fist. I use a black Sharpie on the light colored ones for cords I would like to know the length of before unraveling. Basically, for around $14 your spaghetti drawer full of cords becomes manageable.
