Excellent Audio Quality and Versatility - Perfect for Corporate Videos and More
I recently added the AGPTEK Lavalier Microphone to my setup, pairing it with the Rode Wireless GO II system, and the results have been outstanding. This microphone has proven to be a reliable and high-quality tool, especially for corporate talking head videos where clear, professional audio is crucial.Audio Quality:The sound quality delivered by this lavalier microphone is impressive. It captures clear, crisp audio with a natural tone, making it ideal for recording voices in interviews, podcasts, and corporate video shoots. The omnidirectional pickup pattern ensures that it captures sound evenly from all directions, so I don’t have to worry about the speaker moving position during recordings.Compatibility and Versatility:One of the standout features of this microphone is its versatility. With both a Type-C and 3.5mm jack, it’s compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, laptops, DSLR cameras, and more. I’ve primarily used it with the Rode Wireless GO II system, and the pairing has been seamless. The audio transmission remains stable, and the overall setup is straightforward, making it easy to switch between different devices depending on the shoot.Build Quality:The microphone is well-built and durable, with a sturdy clip that securely attaches to clothing without causing damage or discomfort. The included wind muff is a thoughtful addition, effectively reducing wind noise when shooting outdoors or in less controlled environments. The cable is long enough to allow for flexibility in positioning, which is great for interviews or video presentations - arguably too long but this isn't difficult to hide or tie up.Performance in Corporate Videos:In my experience, this lavalier microphone has performed exceptionally well in corporate talking head videos. The audio is clear and professional, adding a level of polish to the final product that clients appreciate. The microphone’s ability to maintain consistent audio quality, even when used with wireless systems like the Rode Wireless GO II, has been a major advantage in creating high-quality content. It also means the main unit can remain hidden and out of view for a much cleaner final look in the video.Value for Money:Given the microphone's performance and versatility, it offers excellent value for money. It competes well with more expensive models and delivers professional-grade audio at an affordable price point. Whether you’re a content creator, videographer, or someone who needs reliable audio for meetings and interviews, this microphone is a fantastic investment. Conclusion:The AGPTEK Lavalier Microphone is an excellent choice for anyone in need of a reliable, high-quality lapel mic. Its compatibility with a wide range of devices, coupled with its outstanding audio performance, makes it a versatile tool for various recording scenarios. Paired with the Rode Wireless GO II, it has been a game-changer for my corporate video projects, ensuring that the audio is as professional as the visuals. Highly recommended!

Good quality sound for a budget mic
I've been using this mic with my mobile (Galaxy S22) for my "Pieces to camera" on my YouTube videos, and the quality is actually very impressive for the price point. The only gripe I have (and all Samsung phone owners will have the same thing to say) is that the USB C to phono cable doesn't work with Samsung phones (you need to get the genuine Samsung cable). Very happy with the product. Still to new to review on how well it lasts, but I'm sure if I look after it it'll see me through.

Take note of adapters
I had to return the first one as it just did not work at all, but the second one worked a charm. Sound quality is an upgrade on the mics included on my DSLR but greatly improved with software in a way the sound from the camera itself couldn't be.One thing that caught me out, and hopefully useful to someone else, is that my Canon DSLR required the right angle connector which takes it from TTRS down to TRS. I went down a rabbit hole trying to find out why it wouldn't work with my camera. First one was faulty, but second one did work. The Canon mic was over £200 which isn't in my budget so glad this worked out.You get clips, mic covers and the fluffy covers to drown out external noise in windy conditions. There's even a USB C connector which means I may be able to use it with an iPad as a sound only recorder. Lots of kit for not much money, just wish devices were more aligned in how they work with these kinds of things, then we might not need so many adapters!

Twice sent broken product
I've purchased this microphone three times in total. The first time was 2 years ago, and I really like the sound quality, considering the price. It broke 2 months ago, and I purchased it again, along with the increased price. However this time I could not get it to work on my phone in anyways, following every method in the manual. I figured it may either be a compatibility issue, or that my product may be broken, so I issued a return/refund, while ordering another as a replacement (there were no replace or refund option). The new one that arrived also did not work, after extended testing, so I figured it may then be a compatibility issue with my phone, as what are the chances of two consecutive broken items? However recently I've tried using it with different phone brands, with and w/o both adaptors, laptop, pc, etc, and it has never functioned once, so I'm ruling out the compatibility issue.I'm giving one star because of the trouble it's given me extensively test and return the item(for the first time, I can't be asked to do it a second time), as for the probable fact that I was sent a broken product twice. So either this seller needs to do better quality checks, or be more specific in the product description about the devices it can be used on. Shame because I would have continued to purchase this brand had it not given me such a dissatisfactory experience.

Works perfect with Dji Mic
I bought this after looking at different products for use with my Dji Wireless Mic system. I must say that this works perfectly.I tried a different brand before this however the background hiss made the audio unusable. Not so with this product. There is next to no background sound. It comes with all of the adaptors needed to connect with my Dji Mic, it is great that it comes with a right angle and straight TRS to TRRS adaptor so it fits with all scenarios. It does come with a USB C adaptor, it would have been great if it came with a lightning adaptor also but as I already had one of these it wasn't a deal breaker. All in all great value for money and works really well.

Quality reduction
Got this product in 2020 and was very impressed with the quality, I recently repurchased it and the quality is miles worse. There is a constant buzz and the microphone randomly cuts out. Shame as it was a great product.
