The way of preparation is what i loke most.

I love the simplicity of the pour over single pack, the taste was full bodied medium/dark roast and very satisfying.

Taste could be a little stronger. I was expecting more of a medium roast but it's more light.

The only coffee I use at the office. Easy to brew, easy to clean up, tastes amazing.

I’m from Japan and last month I went back to visit my family. I’m living here US almost 33 years. Anyway every time when I go back to Japan , I always brought theses coffee home because taste really good, and I lives by myself so when I found these on US Amazon I was really happy, now I can just buy it here, not to ask my family to send these from Japan!

This is a sampler pack of UCC's pour-over coffee. Key word: sampler. UCC might be more famous for the classic canned iced coffee drink that was around long before Nestle started selling the Starbucks Doubleshot, but they are renowned for being one of the best coffee roasters in the entire world. This sampler pack will give you a really good idea of how cafes in different Japanese regions serve their take on a "blended roast".I'm not a super coffee connoisseur. If I were, I'd train to become a barista. Nah, I can taste "bitter, toasty, chocolate, vanilla, ACID" and that's pretty much it, so I'm not winning any competitions anytime soon. That said, I can taste a good bit of complexity every time I make a little coffee from each sample, none of them taste like they're rancid or burned, they're good, solid coffees. I've tried some cheaper portable pour-overs from Daiso, and the difference was night and day, the Daiso coffee was "only good enough if you need a caffeine hit and if you held your nose". The UCC filters were also easy to use, if a tad bulky, and were much more compact than competing products.But here's the thing: These are samplers. That means you're only going to get an ounce or two of coffee out of them. Compared to a Kuju filter, these only have a third to half the coffee grounds, so forget about filling up even a teacup with the coffee you get from these. And at any rate, it's probably impossible to find full size versions of any of the blends in this sample pack outside of Japan.So as much as I respect UCC, this product is not really meant for people who want to drink the coffee they want at the office or campground, not at this size. There are a lot of non-UCC products to choose from that will probably be more reasonable for your budget and produce more coffee.
