I'd buy this for the gorgeous scent alone!
I've never tried this brand, not even in the swinging 80s, as I was more of a Flex Balsam and Protein kinda gal (RIP) but given the price and reviews and figured it was worth a shot. When I opened the box, the absolutely gorgeous scent of this, even unopened, hit me and I was HOOKED. It reminds me soooo much of how haircare smelled back in the 70s and 80s; very fresh and clean, and oddly addictive. I have naturally ash blonde, fine textured, wavy thick hair. My husband has brown, straight, thick-textured hair, but it works very nicely for both of us. Good clean feeling from the matching shampoo, and this leaves the hair soft without feeling greasy or heavy. I even scrunch it into my dry hair, since I only wash my waves about once every week or so. I'm sold!
