Sonus Ion Paint Sealant- Enhances Gloss Protects from the Elements for Car Truck SUV

I was skeptical - I had no idea how I was going to take care of the bugs that had splattered all over the back of my car when it was shipped across country. Although the car was only a year old when I had moved and shipped it on a commercial open air trailer, the bugs would not come off after repeated scrubbing, car washing, and then using mineral oil. This wax is terrific and made my car new again. I can't even see where the bugs were. I took it for a drive in the rain right after waxing it, and the water beaded and dripped right off. This is a terrific product, and it works.

I found this product to be good overall. That said, it’s no better than any good quality liquid or paste wax when removing bugs from the front of your car. The bugs stick just as much to this wax product as others and it still requires elbow grease to get them off. I’m going to continue to use my normal high quality waxes on my vehicles. I found it unnecessary to have a special wax for big purposes.

I took a chance on this because reviews were mixed. I put down a very good car wax, then put this on the areas that might get exposed to bugs. I was very pleasantly surprised at how little effort it took to get the bugs off. I took an extended three week, 2000 mile drive through farmlands and mountains where bugs are excessive. When I got home the remaining bugs washed off fairly easily. As a side note, near the end of my trip I drive through a minor hail storm and was surprised to see that most of the bugs had already been removed because of that. A 90 minute job was more like a 10 minute job because of this product!!

I used this product on the front grill of my car. I applied the wax with a soft sponge. It went on easy. I let it dry and then used a micro-fibre cloth to buff it. It created a very smooth/slick finish. I only applied it to the painted metal and painted plastic parts on my grill per the recommendation. The next day a drove at night when the bugs were out and the following morning I was able to wipe them off with a paper towel. The slick finish was still in tact. It was a good first test. I will see how long the finish holds up under the UV and will likely apply it again. So far so good!

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to apply and easy to take off , let the surface really slippery , it won’t keep all the bugs out but it will be easier to wash them out with out residue. I really recommend it

Amazing product, gives your car a beautiful luster shine for that “wet” look. Also bug guts slip right off.

I would recommend it for anyone that lives where there are tons of bugs!

Product never meet my expectations do not work at all……….. get it or not it’s the same
