SILCA Bike Gear Wipes Canister, 8" x 12" Double-Sided Towels - 110 Count

I used these for a waterless cleaning of my bike. The gritty side was great for the drivetrain, and the smooth side did a nice job on the frame. The wipes are also good for cleaning grease from your hands.

You get a lot for the money and they work well, just don’t leave it uncovered or they will dry out

I use these after my rides and they are just such an amazing purchase for people who ride. I’m sure that they could have cross application for automotive, but they manage to clean up my bikes in literally seconds. I have stopped washing my bikes because of these wipes. I wipe or rag down the thickest dirt from riding trails or in the rain, and then use these to fine clean the bike after. The scent is really strong on these so i normally wear a mechanics glove when I work with them. The degreaser seems to be really strong so it can hurt your fingernail beds. I really like using these to rag down my waxed chain, then I reapply with a drip wax and my transmission is as good as new, and whisper quiet. I’ve even used these on occasion on tough camping gear stains or parts of my car that need additional cleaning. I’m a big fan of this Silca product and I’ll be keeping them in my shop for years to come!

I really had to think about getting these because I wasn’t sure they were worth the $$, but now that I got them I will always have them available. They make cleaning your bike after a ride so simple and convenient, you won’t ignore it. Just pop one out of the canister and use it to wipe down the frame, brakes, drivetrain and chain. You’ll still have to give your ride a good wash every now and then, but these wipes really keep things clean on the go. I also use them to wipe off my riding shoes - brings the white right back 😎 I highly recommend them.

Gear wipes are tough and do a great job cleaning hands after working on greasy equipment (ie: bikes, small engines, etc.). After cleaning hands, still lots of degreasing ability left to clean tools (such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) and wipe down whatever equipment I was working on. Not cheap but I think they are worth it for the amount of cleaning/degreasing they allow.

I love these wipes but they shipped the container with nothing holding the lid on. The container exploded during shipping and all of the juice leaked out. They were not cheap so hope they figure out how to ship to keep the container intact.

One cloth allows me to wipe the frame down, clean the mechanical with some good detail and then I give the wheels and tire a wipe. Bought a new road bike last December and it has not seen the garden hose yet. This is my canister of wipes they work great.

2 wipes and bike spotless. Don't have access to outside, so have to clean my bike indoors. The dirt just wipes off easy and sticks to the wipes, it's amazing, plus they don't scratch or affect my paint job at all. One tub has lasted me 6 months. So at first it seemed expensive, but very happy with how long they have lasted. I ride an endurance bike on tarmac and light gravel, so if you ride more trails and gravel than tarmac, they obviously won't last as long. But for indoor cleaning I highly recommend them.
