Ok so I read these reviews myself like crazy so I wanted to leave one for this product: here goes!My adopted lab; 95 pounds, 10 years old, had some shaking in his front paws when I first got him and concave hips, but he seemed to get around well enough and didn't seems to be bothered. I noticed one day however our neighbors dog zooming around their back yard and literally acting nuts, I saw the neighbor one day curious to see how old the dog was, she said she was 9! I was shocked, I thought she was 3 or around that...So I quickly went in and started some research, glucosamine and msm where the answer. I do combine this with glucosamine (dasuquin) and then he gets three of these a day. I do exactly what the instructions say and within a few weeks he was a different dog! Now he isn't zooming around the yard like the neighbors but he is walking / running much faster and easier and even wanted to try jump in our bed with us (he never has tried to before because he couldn't probably because of pain). He also rolls over much more on his back for belly rubs. Plays with his toys more etc.. Keep in mind though I don't think his joint/arthritis condition was too far advanced, but I don't think that would matter too much.I think this stuff is amazing and I will be giving this to him everyday for the rest of his life.Two things I have noticed though that are a slight inconvenience is that they are pills and I have to hide them in something for him to eat. AND I think he gets stinky gas from them. Like - room clearing.So hence I am on here again looking for a gas medicine! Lol!Try this stuff, it helps the glucosamine in their food or pills work much better (I give him the glucosamine pills and his food has it too). It works.

I started giving these to my 2 old dogs, age 12 and 13. My 13 year old had stopped getting up on her own at all, we've been helping her consistently with towels under her back hips. After only 4 days of using this, she started getting up on her own pretty often. She still gets out of breath and we help her, but now after a week of taking it she's moving a lot more often and just seems overall more comfortable. I will be buying this until they are not here with us anymore.

Noticeable improvement since using on my 11 year old male German Shepherd. I crush these in his food, and he readily eats it. They are not chewable tablets. But easy to give.Definitely recommend.

The dogs don't seem to like the taste. I either have to crush it or just shove it down their throat. I did not read the description enough to know they aren't really chewable dog friendly pills.

Since it was chewable I "ass-umed" it would be flavored in some fashion. It is not, so if I throw it in their dry food, it's a hit/miss if they'll get it. UPDATED: after a year of giving this to my 14yr. old Weimy I can see that it has and is helping with her old hips/legs. I don't care if I do have to buy wet dog food and give it to her in a "treat" form like that.I definitely can tell she is not as gimpy as she was, or should have been after another year of dog life!UPDATE AGAIN!!! It's 2 years of still feeding my Weimy - She's now SIXTEEN!!!! Her back end is failing, but I am sure that this MSM has helped her through another two years without pain, and still doing stairs (mostly by herself).

Didn’t do anything for my dog, not one bit of a difference

Our 2 year old female mix breed has hip dysplasia. She requires two doses of Rimadyl and Cosequin per day just to function. Adding additional MSM between these doses has permitted her to act like a normal dog. She can go up stairs and rise from her bed without the extra effort that was required before. It Works!

My dog who was having trouble jumping in the couch or bed takes this. She’s been in it for a few months now. It works wonders. She is able to enjoy life more now. She’s a lab that is almost 9. My vet evwn said this was a good pill to give her. I’d definitely recommend.
