These jacks are great! They couldn't be any easier to use. The screw terminals are way more convenient than solder lugs, so installation time is practically nothing in comparison to jacks that have to be soldered. The threaded shanks are long enough to use in moderately thick panels/housings, and they feel durable. If I have any other projects that require this size jack, these will definitely be the ones I choose to use!

Worked great for me right away. Screw pins have withstood a few wire installations and changes while working on a project without issue. They're small and don't need much force; hand tightening with small screwdrivers is easy. Haven't had any issues with the audio quality of connection on the line out side at all. I'd say this is a really good value if you don't need anything really particular in terms of form factor or connectivity.

They are easy to use, no soldering necessary. I don't mind soldering, and I'm good at it too. BUT if I don't have to, then why? Also, virtually all of these 1/8" stereo jacks are delicate, don't last in the long run. Can't tell you how these jacks will last in the long run, but I CAN tell you that if one goes bad, I can just change it with a jeweler's screwdriver - no need to solder. The outer plastic housing on these seems super tough. The metal shank with the treads on it is long enough to mount on a thick .075" aluminum panel (done that already, and had 1.5 threads left showing). I took one star off for "Value for money" because they don't include a lock washer for the nut. Since the panel I mounted it on also has a speaker, I'm worried about it vibrating loose, so I had to add a dab of LockTite to ensure the nut won't vibrate off. They "could" have included a $0.02 lock-washer, I'm sure the profit margin on these is big enough for them to make that sacrifice.

I installed the 3.5mm jack in my classic HiFi Stereo amplifier to allow it to play back music from an MP3 player. It worked out well and the integrated terminal strip made it easy to install.

Great solution for experimenting and prototyping. Seem well made.

I needed to build some “one-off” interface boxes for a commercial sound installation. It was a HOW that had its original installation done in 1985, had some upgrades in 2003 and 2013. The interfaces needed some 1/8” jacks so I chose these as they could easily changed int he field, if needed. The only thing to be aware of is that for “ease of field changes” they AUST be spaced a little further apart than standard jacks. In this case, it was an easy trade off.

Used to mod a pair of headphones and worked great.

Teeny tiny for fit in small projects. Durable, easy to install if you have a tiny screwdriver. Works great my records sound amazing through Bluetooth transmitter. Perfect functionality and excellent value at this price!

Der erste von zwei funktioniert prima. Kinder und Kopfhörer...was passiert gerne? Genau...die Leitung zwischen Kopfhörer und Endgerät hatte einen Wackelkontakt. Daraufhin habe ich diesen Adapter in den Kopfhörer eingebaut. Für den Fall, dass irgendwann wieder ein Wackelkontakt kommt, brauch ich jetzt nur die Leitung tauschen. Der zweite Adapter liegt in der Schublade...mal sehen, wann der zum Einsatz kommt.

Brilliant! Got these to replace a broken aux port in my daughters 05 Beetle. Worried it wasn't going to work but needn't have worried...it did! Did have to swap the wires around twice as there are no references to say where the wires need to go, but a minor niggle.
