GREAT Case!!! Will be buying MANY more!
I LOVE THIS CASE!!! It is SO simple to assemble and works EXACTLY as advertised. It simply does what I need it to do!!! To address issues raised by a couple of other reviewers: 1) One person gave it 1 star because there are no port labels. If you don't know the difference between USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, you probably don't need to be working with Linux based systems and SBC projects. No port labels isn't a deal breaker for me. Is it for you? 2) One person gave it 1 star because of the space between the built-in heatsink and the CPU. NEWS FLASH: the case comes with a thermal PAD! Not thermal paste. Not thermal tape. A THERMAL PAD!!!!!! The space is there to accommodate the thickness of the pad. In fact, another reviewer measured the distance between the heatsink and the CPU in order to purchase a copper heatsink thick enough to bridge the gap. He then added thermal paste. This gap is supposed to be there. Bottom line, the case is the best on the market! It SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the operating temp without any of the noise a fan produces. It's also a sleek design. AND the value is just unbeatable. Try it out. You won't buy another case for your Pis.

Excellent passive cooling case with great fit and finish.
I received the CanaKit branded version of this case with my latest Raspberry Pi purchase and like it so much I decided to purchase one for my other Pi 4B. It turns out that this is the same case that CanaKit rebranded for their kits and it was inexpensive! I extremely happy with the fit of this case as it provides access to all the external ports and the SD card slot. The ports all line up perfectly with the openings in the case and the SD card is easily accessible. As an added bonus, there is a cutout next to the SD card slot that provides visibility to both the power and the activity LEDs on the end of the Pi board. The bottom of the case is plastic and the top has a snap on soft-feel plastic cover over the aluminum. I've had no issues with WiFI or Bluetooth being blocked while in this case. As far as cooling goes, the case is fantastic. I'm running Docker, Portainer, and Pi-hole processes 24x7 and the temps have settled around 45 C with the Pi sitting on a shelf in my server rack. The Pi has never come close to thermal throttling even under high loads and it remains silent due to the absence of a fan. In my opinion this is the best no-frills, passive cooling Raspberry Pi 4B cases available, and it looks good too!

Fits perfectly
Fits perfectly on my RPi 4, and keeps it relatively cool, even when running the Pi at full throttle. Case gets warm to the touch, but other than that it works perfectly. Will note that it blocks the camera connector and GPIO though, so if you want to use those then you'll probably want a different case.

Silent and cool
My raspberry pi 4 came with the original case and was constantly running at about 60-70C, with occasional upticks towards 80C. I decided to purchase a fan case instead thinking that would cool it down, which it definitely did. With a fan case my temps dropped down to about 35C...but unfortunately the fan buzz noise was just loud enough and distracting that I had to move my raspberry pi from sitting on my desk into a back corner of my room (where I could still hear it, but less). Happy with the cooler pi yet unhappy with the fan noise I decided to try out this case based on the reviews. I'm very glad I did! It does run a bit hotter than the fan case, now showing a temp hovering around 43C. It's silent as can be, and the case is very sleek looking. I can finally put my beloved little pi back on my desk where it looks beautiful and I can love it and pet it and call it George. The aluminum of the case does get warm...but I haven't had any issues with it being HOT to the touch. I can definitely still pick it up and grip it / hold it without any issues. English muffins out of my toaster do WAY more damage to my hands. The black top / bottom is a nice soft rubbery material. Recommend you give this a try if you're looking for a silent cooling case. My Pi use cases so far: - DHCP / DNS pihole - gBridge - Home Assistant - MQTT - web / proxy server

Worth double the price -- of a standard PI4 case
It has already stood up to a durability test -- the item arrived in a wadded up envelope -- in my mailbox. Try and try as whoever tried -- amazingly the product box wasn't even hardly dented -- and not a scratch on the product inside. The product box itself is a true sign of quality -- as it is one sturdy little box! Oh yeah -- the actual product -- the PI4 case! The silver color I received was nice and it really is mostly one big aluminum heatsink. It does better than the case I received in the kit when I ordered a Pi4. SILENCE LIKE IT SHOULD BE! Some people may complain that the top is plastic -- that's a good thing for your Wifi and Bluetooth signals == so no complaining! The original kit case had a tiny fan that I could hear -- it was annoying. That tiny fan -- coupled with the basic heatsinks done just enough cooling -- but never good enough. I was always glitching the Pi instead of just throttling -- it would seem stable sometimes -- and other times it would not. This Flirc Silver case allowed me to reach a stable 2.25 GHz with no moving parts -- it is now on my list for other Pi builds in the future. You know it is working -- if installed correctly -- because you can touch it and feel the heat poring off the CPU through the outside of the case. It's not burning or scalding hot -- but it does kick in your instinct -- HOT! Some people may think something is wrong -- it's not -- its almost perfect. Like others have mentioned -- if this were re-designed to touch the CPU a little better or come up with a better transfer material or actual metal shims -- this thing would be a silent beast! I can not get top reported speeds on the PI4 and did not expect to -- this may be due to my luck of silicon on my 8GB model -- or just more than this case can currently handle (which is nothing to scoff at). It is just short of amazing.

Best enclosure for the RaspberryPi 4 that I could find
Best metal enclosure I could find for my Raspberry Pi 4. Every thing fits together properly. Best of all, the Pi never overheats while running the LibreElec media player software. No fan is required. I am very happy with it.

Gr8 Case for Pi 4! Even overclocked at 2Gz
This is a great case for the Raspberry Pi4. I overclocked it at 2Gz and surprisingly it stayed way below 80 C. In stress test it never peaked over 61C. And that is without a fan. The entire case becomes a heat sink so careful it gets hot. Under idle it sits at 38-39C. I ordered the Argon 1 for the Pi4 and it didn't even power up. Had to return it. I may order another one of these. It's a gr8 looking case, $10 cheaper and no daughter board to go bad or not work like the Argon 1. I even was able to use a ribbon cable to get to the GPIO pins and keep the case closed. If you're looking to use the camera or CSI display you need to take the top off. But I use it hooked up to my TV to run get IPTV through a browser so I can stay a cord cutter (or YouTube). Hooked up through HDMI cable. Such a great case and sleek design. Unbelievable cooling. Can you tell I'm really in love with this case?! Great passive cooling for a case with the Pi4 overclocked at 2Gz.

Seriously, just buy this case!
This case is simple and awesome. It is far better than other cases I have tried. First, other cases with fans are friggin' noisy. Close them up inside something with vents, you have a pretty solid white noise machine in the room. It gets old fast, because usually your pi is right in front of you somewhere by your monitor. Unless you are really running a pi hot overclocking it, a heat sink is going to be more than enough to keep your pi cool and functional. The Flirc case is designed to be one big heat sink/absorber. Even laying flat on a mouse pad and a hard surface the case was barely warmer than your hands, and I have never had an issue with connectivity. I've had a metal case in the past that seemed to really screw with the wifi signal. I would have no problem just tossing, and I mean literally tossing, my pi into a backpack or my pocket with this case. This thing is great for a field computer. I am pretty sure use you could use it as a weapon to fight off bears and it would still boot up afterwards. I've got a workstation in a couple places at home and at work, so I can just take this with me to whichever one and plug it in and go. I have actually picked this up instead of my phone by mistake because i use it so much.

Top Kühlung, Top Design, Top Verarbeitung, Perfekte Kühlung ohne Lüfter - Was will man mehr! Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Great Fit and Finish
Loving this little case and its passive cooling approach. All the ports line up as expected and it looks quite neat. Not having a fan means my Home Assistant Raspberry Pi can live the quiet life in the cupboard without sucking in dust.

Good product
Good heat sink and keeps my raspberry Pi within 55 degrees. My usage is high. Handle them with care. One time it slipped and fell down , though it did not break but one of the curved edge become flat and paint came out. Looks like the metal is of high quality.

stylish and functional
Used this for a raspberry pi 4b, the styling is stunning and I haven't come across another case that looks as sleek as this. The main benefit other than looks however is its sturdiness, since the silver portion is made of metal, and its awesome passive cooling. I use the pi as a music streamer and have it on 24/7, the pi reports its CPU temps ranging from 45-55 degrees, varying based on the ambient temp of the room. It is warm to the touch when running since it acts like a heatsink. Bottom and top are not made of metal but plastic (top is soft touch plastic). Micro sd card is accessible which is a good bonus. Comes with a thermal pad to place in between the CPU and the metallic portion of the case to give it direct contact and heat transfer. Wouldn't want any other case!
