Remote learning
With quarantine, my daughter had to miss class due, to string for her violia. Even though i had to wait a month. Understandable I live in NY, I would be scared to send anything my way . LOL. Received and is holding up, she has class 3 days a week and it's been well over a month. So yes will definitely purchase again, have no choice to wait, no stores around.

I strung my fiddle as a viola.
I bought this to see if it would work to string my old fiddle as a viola. I play by ear, and I wanted some pitches below G anyway. (I don't hear upper pitches perfectly in tune, so the E string is problematic for me.) So, I kept my violin A, D and G strings, moved each one up a peg and added this C string. Works beautifully!

Huge Improvement
When you buy an super entry level viola w/ 2 pairs of strings and a pour rosin round for $40. then upgrade to $22 strings lilke these you can really hear the difference. I am new to violas. I don't know how they are in general but if you have an economy viola; you will hear the difference.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LET THEM STRETCH.
The strings came fast per usual with Prime and they play exceptionally well for intro strings. They take a good three or four days to stretch to adequate tuning length but hey, they are awesome.

These are beginner strings
I was on a budget so I was looking around for what seemed to be quality budget strings, so I bought these, but I was mistaken in their sound. They have a very medium but scratchy sound it's not bad, but you need a lot of rosin to make them sound good, and that amount of rosin is bad for the strings so it's a "lose, lose" in that regard. But they do work for what I'm using them for, practice. If you want proper strings for a viola with a warmer tone, and more direct sound, I would recommend something else.I would look at the Sharmusic Viola strings chart, it's what I used to find the ones I ordered.

Needed an A
I was repairing a Viola and needed an A, to keep the costs down for the student I purchases this single string. The A string. Put it on, it held nicely, and kept its tune. Plus, the bowing was even and the string didn't stand out but sang well with the rest of the strings which were not replaced.

bad quality strings
strings are not in individual covers. before i received the same strings with individual covers. the quality of the strings are not good and especially G and C strings are very bad.
