I am starting to get arthritis in my thumbs and that is a key muscle for holdling a paper back book. These book holders mean that I can hold my book lightly or even just lay it in my lap or put it on the table, or prop it up and read relatively hands-free. It is a little fiddley to change the page, but I have been through 3 books by now and it is second nature. And my hands feel great! And, yes, the books were great reads...

I'll start with the concerns: - They're not super sturdy. Accidentally pulled one completely apart on trying to use it for the first time. - Clicking open to expand isn't as easy as it should be. Positives: - Inexpensive - Functions as advertised - Allowed me, with a repetitive stress injury, to read books again I could see these being great for travel because they collapse nicely. Also, I don't really need a bookmark anymore because I just leave it open on the page I was on. Overall, I recommend.

These don’t do well with books of all sizes. They work great for books made in the right dimensions, but those are few and far between. They are flimsy and don’t really hold your book open to an angle that allows you to read well.

They work okay but there isn't an ease of use. They are awkward and don't lay flat so when using them on a desk to hold open a book they have to be set weirdly to hold the book. Adjusting is a nightmare and doesn't make it easy for someone to quickly adjust to a new length book. Would not recommend it. Just go get a flip klip.

Not a bad product, but it's probably worth spending more for a nicer version. They do slide to fit any book which is appreciated. However, they do not lock very well into the open position. They keep the book mostly open, but not completely open on their own. The locking mechanism is just a plastic piece sliding between two other plastic pieces and holding with friction. I wish there was a pin or clip or something that was stronger. A useful product, but one which I would not purchase again.

Great, compact, portable, works better on some books than others. Takes up a small amount of space very easy to take anywhere. Fits in purse. plastic so easynfor traveling.

Great when you want to lay book down and read without holding pages down. Great at the beach because windy! Keep on my purse now for whatever book I am reading.

Ok, work well but turning pages is an issue and when the book is slim one side (as in your have only just started reading it so not many pages in ) and thick the other they don't hold particularly well.
