G-Promise Solid Metal 3-Way Shower Diverter Valve (Oil Rubbed Bronze)

Was really easy to install. All we have to do is flip the lever for whichever shower head we would like at the time.

This is a high quality, heavy and durable water switch. It switches over 100%, without fail and transitions smoothly. It can also do a range of switching, 50/50, etc.

Solid construction, no leaks, fluid motion. We used this 3-way diverter to create a 2-person shower without altering existing plumbing. We can alternate between his/hers heads, use both together, and even adjust the water pressure shared between us. One shower head has a built-in handheld and mount, essentially giving us up to 3 heads to use simultaneously. How to do it: - connect 3-way diverter to wall shower arm with perpendicular outlet pointed UP - attach preferred shower arm extender to perpendicular diverter outlet, then connect preferred shower head to extender - attach preferred shower head to parallel diverter outlet Ways to add a handheld option to his/hers shower heads: Option 1: Install a dual head/combo head on the parallel g-promise diverter outlet - point perpendicular outlet UP to attach extender and upper shower head - this is the way we did it; we chose a Brightshower rectangular rain head with a built-in 5’ handheld and mount - Our rain head’s handheld diverter is built into the shower head body so all we had to do was screw the head onto the g-promise diverter. - other combo heads also use a diverter to attach the main head to the hose. Simply screw the diverter included with the combo head kit onto the g-promise diverter, then attach your shower head and hose according to the kit’s instructions Option 2: fixed shower head with separate hose - attach g-promise diverter to wall with perpendicular outlet facing UP, then connect extender and overhead shower head to diverter’s perpendicular outlet - attach a double outlet shower manifold to g-promise diverter’s parallel outlet. Choose one with shutoff valves included - attach preferred fixed shower head to one end of the double outlet manifold - attach preferred hose and handheld attachment to the other end of the double outlet manifold - the g-promise diverter directs water between the overhead shower head and the lower head and separate hose. The shutoff valves on the double outlet manifold direct water between the lower fixed shower head and separate hose and can also be used adjust water flow on each manifold outlet. Option 3: two overhead shower heads and separate hose - attach g-promise diverter with perpendicular outlet facing DOWN - connect hose to diverter perpendicular outlet and hang your handheld on a wall holder or slide bar holder - attach extender arm to diverter parallel outlet - attach double outlet manifold to extender arm. Choose one with shutoff valves included - pick two fixed shower heads that you like and screw one onto each end of the double outlet manifold. Some double outlet manifolds even come as a set with heads I’m sure there are other ways to achieve the same thing but these are the options we considered, and I wanted to share because researching all the different combinations of hardware was a gigantic pain in the rear-end. But whichever way you build the best shower of your life, a good 3-way diverter is the key piece of hardware you need to make it all work. Buy this one.
