Washing Machine Outlet Box 1/2" Boxed

Loved it. My utility room looks and is much cleaner with the plumbing within the walls. I installed the water inlets on top to help keep it even cleaner. Very simple installation.

This was great! Easy enough to install.What I liked:Easy to attach pexgood clear instructionsthe adaptability... I ended up needing only the half with the valves and I mounted it upside down (my pipes come down from ceiling)What I didn't like:I wish the trim band was wider... it is difficult to install in a pre-finished wall because you have to attach the pex before inserting into hole which is hard to then coerce into the dry-wall hole that is barely bigger than the box or you have to cut the drywall hole too big and the trim doesn't cover. Overall it was a pain to install, but I love it anyway!

It is very configurable, I needed to swap the drain and supply sides and it was very easy to do. The water supply valves are sturdy and don't leak. The 1/2 inch drywall was installed around it with no problems and the cover snapped into place for a very nice finished look.

I put in a washer underneath my kitchen counter and needed a smaller width outlet box than standard to fit my application. I actually faced the Ox Box into a basement stairway that was on the opposite side of the kitchen wall, so I would have access to the shut offs without pulling out the washer. This meant I cut holes in the back of the Ox Box to feed the outlet hoses thru the back of the box and toward the washer. It actually worked great, and looks rather clean.

I'm not a plumber. This is an excellent product.Does exactly what it says. Fits snugly in the wall without any wiggle/jiggle, easy to connect to the PEX lines. The bevel easily covered the rough cut hole in the drywall required for installation.

Easy to install and did the job we needed it to do. Not terribly attractive, but these things aren't supposed to be, are they?

The photo on the website shows 3/4” threaded brass connections. What you get are 1/2” PEX plastic connections. And I have to pay the return postage. Very bad business practice. Amazon is better than this.

Just as advertised. Easy installation, with lots of options (drain on the left, drain on the right, supply up, supply down). Looks great in the finished wall!
