This is exactly what I was looking for. I bought the large size with the extra gel. It isn't intended for you to walk around with it. It's meant for you to be sitting down or laying down relaxing and letting that knee heal. People mentioned that it doesn't stay cold for very long. I think that's a misperception. When you put it on, it is cold but not ridiculously cold, such as ice cubes, so you are not abusing your skin. It is absolutely cold, but at the appropriate level whereby your body adapts to this readily. Yes after 10 minutes it may not feel cold, but that's just your body has adjusted. It remains acceptably cold enough for your 20 to 30 minute treatment. If you don't believe me, put it on your other leg and you will feel how much cold is still remaining.

Excellent ice sleeve. Love how thin it is. And love the storage holder it comes with, so that it stays separated from your frozen food items. Wish I had found it sooner!

Revised... My wife bought one the other day and I used it and was quite happy with it. I then ordered one for myself. Now that I’ve had a chance to use it several times., here are my observations. The fit and quality of the sleeve are great. It fits snuggly and stays in place even when I’m walking. It’s a knee sleeve. What I don’t like about it is the fact that it does not retain the cold temperature for more than maybe 10-15 minutes. That to me is a major disadvantage. If a short cold temp pack is what you want, this is great. But for me, it doesn’t retain its temperature long enough. Note: After trying out another brand (Arctic), both cold packs exhibit the same behavior of providing cold for about 10-15 minutes. So, it is not so much an issue with the pack as it is with the gel. So, I don't really fault TheraIce for this. After now using the pack for several days, I can say that it does the job even if for only 10-15 minutes.

great product! very easy and comfortable to use, fits just as my measurements indicated it would, cools quickly.

This is a stretchy tube of thick, covered gel. Get the right size and it fits like a glove, reducing swelling and pain. Seems constructed well to last. Store in freezer to reactivate, then pull on over the leg like a sleeve.

I cannot believe how great this works. Freezes fast, size is right on the money, doesn’t leak, flexible, good value, very soft and firm… I’m going to buy a back up. This is my go to now…

Fit and comfort is great. The issue is that even after being in the freezer for 3 hours it stays cold for 10 minutes maximum which makes it really ineffective for cold therapy. They recommend 2 hours in the freezer so 2 hours yields 10 minutes of cold therapy. Not great. If this could stay cold longer say 30 or 45 minutes it would be amazing because when you first put it on it feels great.

This ice pack sleeve is awesome! Fits great and stays cold for about 12 minutes once its on.

It’s truly a value for money product ….an hour in the freezer and gives you instant relief for upto 30 mins . It’s quite sturdy and flexible . Using it for the calf area post surgery

These work as described. My main situation is that they don’t stay cold enough for long enough (for my personal use). So they have advantages and having the wrap around the joint is helpful. Beyond that it’s depending on what and how you need to use the ice pack.

Well made. Holding up great with daily use for nearly 2 months so far. Gets REALLY cold. Has a cooling effect even if not kept in the freezer or fridge.

Good product, not great quality. I have had this product for a couple of weeks and only used it about 6 times. It’s already leaking jel.
