great quality for the price
Given the price, these are better quality than I expected. They are at least as good as the ones I bought at a local big box store for 3 times the price.

One star off for poor instructions and hardware
Once installed, these SPACEKEEPER Workbench Casters work as expected and make it very easy to move around a shop table that I just finished out of scrap wood and tempered hardboard. Like so many “some assembly required” projects, it takes you forever to finish the first [only] set of casters. If you were to do an additional ten, it would take you the same amount of time as the first project, since you know the tricks to use, and the mistakes to avoid. Please note these are to be mounted to the sides of your bench legs and not underneath the bottoms of the legs, so plan your design accordingly. In the “down” (rolling around) position, you add only ¾” to your table height (see photos). So here are my complaints and recommendations if you buy this caster set:1. The instructions are pretty much worthless. They basically say “put together and mount on table legs.” No helpful step by step details and the included drawings (on one little square of paper) don’t match the items in the kit. Mine was labeled “upgraded version” so maybe the drawings referred to the parts in the non-upgraded version. It was frustrating trying to follow the limited (three!) steps because you have to figure out the orientation of parts that don’t look like the ones in the drawing.2. The kit is supposed to include 4 wrenches but instead there are two stamped metal pieces with various cutouts shaped like bolt heads and nuts. I tried using them and quickly switched to real tools – much easier.3. The instructions indicate you should assemble the caster units entirely and then mount them with the provided screws. I did that, only to find that to mount the screws in the bottom part of the bracket, you have to take the caster unit apart again to gain access to the holes (see photo). Lesson learned: attach the step-down pedal (with the red tip) to the bracket and also assemble the caster stem in the lower part of the unit (“wheel mounting plate”), but don’t attach that to the black bracket yet. Instead, locate, pre-drill pilot holes, and screw the bracket to the leg first, then attach the caster stem and lower part of the unit to the bracket. Adjust tension on the bolt and nut that hold the step-down pedal until it takes a slight push to make it go down, but not so tight it won’t easily lift up again.4. The template would be a good thing to use to help accurately place the bracket on your bench leg if only it was the right dimension – which it’s not. It is crucial to mount these things exactly right so your table sits flat/stable when the caster wheels are “up” and rolls freely when the caster wheels are down. The problem is that the template is 1/16” too short and 3/8” too narrow to match the footprint of the black brackets. So beware. I trimmed my template correctly with a razor knife to the right size. I also elected to mount the units inside the legs so as to avoid a stumbling hazard. You may want to do likewise (see photo).5. The screws included are complete crap and should be discarded immediately. Don’t do as I did and have three of them cam out when pressure was applied (see photo). With a fourth one, the screw head snapped off completely, leaving about 2/3 of the screw shaft irretrievably buried in the wood. When I switched to my own supply of wafer head screws (see photo), I was able to mount the brackets without issue.Once installation was completed, I was able to dance the workbench around the shop with ease. Stepping down and toe-ing up the red-tipped pedals is a snap. All-in-all, I am very satisfied and for Chinese-made parts, these are not too bad. I have another table on which I used 360-degree casters with brakes, mounted underneath the bottoms of the legs, and they are a real pain to operate. These SPACEKEEPER Workbench Casters I would recommend if you are reasonably handy.

Tough and solid product!
When I got it, I ran a test by mounting it on a 2x4, it worked fine. Three weeks later after I built the 2'x4' woodbench, I installed all four legs. It works very well, solid and easy to operate it. But, two comments about this product:- The installation manual is a joke, useless in one piece of paper with simple drawing. Look their product pictures, that's more detail of how to do installation.-2nd, the template is1/8" off, too short, don't follow it. Use the real plate will get the job done right.

Great value
Instructions are basic, but not really necessary. Hardware is above average. Build quality exceeded my expectations. Installation is straightforward and easy. They work as described.

I would not buy again
As others have said the instructions are almost nonexistent. Be sure to use the template to get the placement of the brackets exactly 1.5” high. Then screw the bracket. The included screws are not great. I had one top of a screw break off and a couple other screws start to strip. Don’t tighten the bolts completely until everything is put together. Then use the long bolt to attach the wheel bracket. Then bolt the wheel. After that attach the actuator.I would not purchase again.
