Whilst it is good value and does the job, there is a bit of play on the rotation even when the locking knob is fully tightened. As it’s being used for an astrophotography mount that’s not so good but it will probably work fine,

Bought to put on my Manfrotto tripod so that I can pan the camera round without moving the tripod. Nice smooth action which isn’t too loose. It locks in place easily as well and comes with a 1/4” adaptor as well. I’ve bought other Neewer products and they are good value for money.

Be aware, that this panohead does NOT have any clickstops every 15 degrees like most do, and thats the reason I am disappointed with it. This is literally just a rotating platform. You might as well just rotate the tripod itself and save yourself some money towards a better panorama head. True I should have read the reviews first, a few others mention the lack of clicks. Which makes my intended use of it for night time panoramas, impossible.

Smooth rotation, lockable, level bubble a bit small, but overall does the job.

Don't be conned by a number of on-line 'reviews' that quote the claim above, the authors have never tried out the product. This product has NO STOPS and is over 40% more expensive than identical products available on Amazon from a number of vendors. They are all made in the same factory in China, whether you get a good one or not is a matter of luck not price. My only reason for choosing this product was that I need a panoramic head with indexing stops/detents every 45° or 60° (depending on camera orientation) to take a single-row series of overlapping shots in quick succession; better too much overlap than none! Returned for a refund without any problem, but a brand I'll avoid in future.

Fonctionne très bien, mouvement fluide et bonne rigidité une fois serré. Je l'utilise par dessue une base de nivèlement pour pouvoir orienter rapidement au (nord) la base de mon star tracker sans avoir à jouer avec les réglages fin de l'azimuth.

Está base panorámica tiene un giro suave y a la vez sólido, es completamente metálica y de construcción robusta. La parte inferior trae una rosca hembra de 3/8 y cola de milano Arca Swiss. La rosca del vástago es de 1/4 UNC, la típica de las cámaras fotográficas y viene incluido un adaptador de 1/4 a 3/8.

That's all I needed for an existing tripod with a basic head mount. Very good quality, look great too & fine tuning. Recommend for those who are not after a fancy and bulky head but like to stick to the basics.
