Upon opening this, I am impressed with the quality. Seems like really good quality plastic, no imperfections, nice and smooth, good springs. The pack includes a scraper, screwdriver, spoon and a handle - though I am not really sure what the handle is for. Putting it back together to fit inside the box is a bit of a puzzle itself and does not have the option to clip together to store together without the box, otherwise the plates just slide about loosely and would need to buy another sturdier box to keep it all together. It is a little complicated to use and there's a lot going on. I presume with more use that I will get used to all the plates and will become easier. I bought this after my 3D printed one broke at home (currently unable to print another) and I needed a bigger one. The one I originally used was very simple to use and not overly complicated. This one is more fiddly and has many steps in between each thing you do, though there are some pros to having all the bits and bobs for easier pill making. I didn't find the shake method to put the capsules into the holes very fruitful, but maybe this was user error and this will become easier to do the more I do it. I found the last step shaking the caps into the holes to be the most fiddly part as the caps just ended up either upside down or sticking to other caps that were already in their holes. Filling the capsules was the easiest part, had no issues with using the tamper or the scraper. It was really easy to put the caps onto all the capsules, made a nice crunch sound as you press down and was really quick to do. All but two fit perfectly - but again, this could be to user error or the capsules just not lining up correctly. I managed to manually put the caps onto the two it missed. I did find that the presser didn't fully press and while I manually took each pill out of the slot one by one, I pressed down more firmly to fully close the cap. Though I had issues and maybe not 100% used it correctly, it still drastically reduced the amount of time I had previously spent on either manually filling up one by one or using my previous smaller machine. The quality of the build is very good and I would recommend this product.

This gets a five star review because it saves me a lot of money. By buying 100 grams of pure pureida Trans Resveratrol for €40 I made almost 300 capsules - ten months supply at around 300mg per day - for the price of slightly higher than just one months supply of the same strength and purity in a capsuled high street label. Its also relatively easy to use. Doses were pretty even when weighed on a scale that weighs micrograms. But forget the deceptive video showing how with a little shake the capsules fall into place. They don't - you will have to do it manually for the most part as some go in upside down (and are a pain to get out) or not at all. if you accept that alongside the money saving you'll be pleased. I probably wouldn't waste my time with cheaper powders like Tumeric - unless you don't like the taste Of the 100 grams I lost about 12 grams in the process as powder sticks to the gadget - including the tamper, there are spills, and occasionally capsules break etc So I wouldn't chance it with more expensive powders like NMN or powders that come in smaller quantities. I've also used it for Lions Mane and Six Mushroom Complex powders that I buy in 100 gram packs and make similar savings. These are clumpy powders but the gadget works fine with them. Don't set aside a morning to do all your capsule making. The gadget is not only messy to wash (again the tamper) but it is impossible to towel dry fully so you will need to let it sit out to dry off fully between various powders. (or get out a hairdryer perhaps?) If like me you are outside the UK then be mindful that at the current time there is only one supplier (who is not the manufacturer of the gadget) selling size 0 capsules for this machine to buyers outside the UK and their price is not as competitive and delivery can take a couple of weeks.

I'm pleased to report this capsule filler worked flawlessly on my first try. Having read all the reviews first, I was concerned that there would be a lot of wastage and that some capsules might get crushed. After watching the instruction video I had none of these issues at all - there were only a few tiny crumbs left over, so I don't know what others are doing do spill so much. The anti-spill border plate is removable, so any build up of powder along the edges can easily be redistributed. The empty capsules I purchased elsewhere fit perfectly and sealed very well, so there was no need to force them closed with fingers after as others have suggested. Just don't be afraid to push down HARD. Also, the compression plate works great to compact the powder inside the caps. I used it multiple times throughout the process to ensure the capsules were as full as possible. If you check my photo, all the spare powder at the top was sifted into place after. I am really pleased with this kit and have no hesitation recommending it to others. I can't attest to how well the capsules drop into place with a shake as I put them in manually. Also, the main plate may need a quick blow with a hairdryer to remove water droplets after washing.

Very useful a must buy

I set a timer for my first time using this, and to make 100 capsules took 17min 20 sec. This included separating the capsules, but not cleanup. I didn't use the "shake them into place" method, as I wasn't convinced it would be faster or more effective, so I never used the so-called "frame plate". I simply separated each capsule by hand, and as I did so, I placed: 1) each larger half in the capsule body 2) each smaller half into the capping plate This took around five minutes. I then placed the spillguard onto the capsule body, added the powder and spread it around, used the tamper tool, added more powder, and repeated a couple of times. Then I removed the spillguard, placed the coloured "middle plate" onto the capping plate (the plate with the empty, smaller halves of the capsules), and squeezed all the plates firmly together. Job done. 100 neat capsules produced. It's all perfectly functional, and works well for the price. In an ideal world, I think tamper tool could have slightly larger "teeth", and the spillguard could be even more spill-proof, but it's genuinely not a long, complicated process, and there was minimal wastage. It's just what I needed, and feels reassuringly solid.

First time using and out popped 100 perfect Mg Glycinate capsules. Far quicker (and less frustrating) than doing by hand in a bowl. Everything lines up well and seems solid.

Très bon système de remplissage des gélules mais attention à la dimension des gélules moi je me suis trompé de dimension j'ai acheté des gélules numéro 0 et l'appareil est prévu pour des 1

Énorme gain de temps à utiliser cet outil (j'hésite à appeler ça une machine car rien n'est automatisé) pour faire mes propres capsules. Si vous en avez besoin je recommande mais j'émets quelques réserves sur les points suivants (qui en soit doit se retrouver sur tous les outils de ce genre) : - Munissez vous d'une pince à épiler car les capsules ne tombent pas toujours dans le bon sens - Les instructions sont simples mais en anglais (pas un problème pour moi vu que je suis bilingue mais ça peut en gêner certains) - Selon le produit encapsulé, il peut y avoir des différences assez importantes de dosage (j'ai pesé jusqu'à 100mg de différence sur 2 capsules pourtant créées en même temps Je ne l'ai utilisé que deux fois et il me faut quand même 30 minutes pour faire les capsules. Il y a un peu de perte de produit mais ça reste faible, il est vrai que je n'ai pas encore essayé avec des poudres grasses par contre.
