This cable works great! I got it for a new hard drive i just installed, and it did the trick and fit perfectly. The length is reasonable for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

Good cables but expensive
If you're concerned about these cables falling out of the SATA ports, don't worry, they are very snug. Good quality cables, a bit more transparent cherry / glossy red than actually shown in the picture though.

La confezione è minima e giusta per contenere il cavo. Il cavo presenta un'ottima costruzione, materiali di qualità e le spine sono sagomate bene e non presentano alcuna imperfezione. L'utilizzo è immediato e non presenta alcun problema di sorta ne con hd un po' vecchi ne con hd di ultima generazione. Testato con diverse tipologie di sistemi e hd, non ha presentato alcun inconveniente e si è sempre mostrato all'altezza della situazione. Inoltre la lunghezza mi è parsa ottimale: abbondante su piattaforme m-itx e m-atx, giusta su atx piene. Insomma, un prodotto di buona qualità, funzionante e adatto a molteplici esigenze.

Ordered two of these and have used one. The one used is performing as expected. It's a cable, so short of broken internal wires, no problems were expected and none have been found. Recommended. I chose the 18 inch, which if I did have to reach it a bit further would be mostly okay. If you have a full-sized chassis, go for something longer if you are stretching all the way across.

Ho acquistato un masterizzatore Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD-RW (SATAIII) e volevo collegarlo ad una ASRock G41M-VS tramite bus SATA. La scheda madre ha due slot SATAII e questo cavo è servito ottimamente allo scopo (il masterizzatore viaggia a velocità SATAII a causa della scheda madre "vecchia" ma è quello che mi aspettavo). Per curiosità ho poi usato lo stesso cavo su un altro PC (con scheda madre costruita con tencologia SATA III) per collegare un hard disk SSD (SataIII) e anche in questo caso il cavo ha funzionato alla velocità attesa (SATAIII visti i device compatibili) Il connettore ha una sagoma che si adatta perfettamente ad essere inserito nello slot apposito (non balla nè oppone resistenza all'inserimento). E' flessibile quanto basta per poter lavorare con comodità anche in un miniATX. La lunghezza non è esattamente di 45 cm: consideratelo come valore di riferimento.
