SPURK GOLF SHORT PILE GRASS GOLF MAT

Bought two of these mats for my husband and myself for playing winter golf. They are sturdy and well made. Unfortunately I lent mine to a friend the first time it was used and he managed to trash the toggle and bungee - I think he must have left the bungee round the mat when he played. I contacted the supplier who arranged 2 replacement bungees extremely quickly and FOC. Great service! The mats make winter golf easier, cleaner and more pleasant :) Not cheap but should last a long time.

Of all the fairway mats purchased by my golfing group the SPURK purchased by myself outshines them all. The spikes provide stability, the size provides practicality (easily fitting in to a side pocket), and the sturdy base and artificial grass provide quality. The SPURK is also a very reasonably priced piece of equipment therefore very happy with my purchase. One gripe is that I would have liked a small carry bag provided however this does not detract from what is otherwise a great buy.

Bought this after suffering with a temu golf mat over winter and this has changed everything. Sticks in so easily, stays put even if you catch more of the mat than you want. Very sturdy, easy to clean and stores nicely in the side pocket of my golf bag.

I went for this mat/brand as I have used one of my friends before. its a bit on the pricey side to be honest but it's a very good quality mat, well made and durable. I chose the short grass version, and found it easy to use, you just have to line it up with the flag and step on it to seat it down onto the fairway. I found on uneven ground the trick is lay it on the fairway, if it's an up hill lie just stand on the front of the mat to seat the front two pegs. if down hill only step on the back to keep the mat level and your ball won't roll off. if at an angle just step on the side to make it level. it seems to work well like this..and so far the mat has never moved or caused a poor strike. yes you can get cheaper ones but they don't look as good quality to me.

Best golf mat you can get. Some clubs are making mats compulsory in the winter to protect fairways. My own home club does not do this but I still use my Spurk mat because it is far preferable to hit a ball of this excellent surface than off a wet, muddy lie. The mat stays anchored to the ground and it is just like hitting a ball off a perfect lie in the summer. I bought this one because my previous Spurk mat was stolen from the side of my golf bag when I left it outside for an hour. Make sure you paint your name on the black under surface!

This has made winter golf easier than summer golf. I have the short grass version which has made it easy to use fairway woods and irons into the greens. It provides a stable platform well anchored into the turf without the risk of the mat going further than the ball. Playing on a links course there is little chance of finding a flat lie and the ball can roll off but there is ample capability of levelling the mat with the spikes. I do not use this mat for short chips around the green but rather a longer grass version mat.

Best golf mat on the market. Easy to carry around and really good to strike irons from.

Great product which aids great ball striking during winter months when playing off wet boggy fairways.
