I plugged it in and it was instantly accurate. The only input it needed from me was whether I wanted it to adjust for daylight savings time (I did). The size is perfect for me. I can see it from anywhere in the room. You can set the brightness level manually. The clock also gives you the day, date, temperature, relative humidity and phases of the moon. I need to be closer to the clock to see those settings but that really doesn't matter to me. Your eyes might be better than mine. Even if you manually adjust it, it will reset itself slow again within days. **Q: Does the auto dst icon only come on after the 2nd sunday in march?** A: This is not an atomic clock and the description is misleading. The clock has a watch-like CR-2032 behind the regular AA batteries that keeps the time, but the time has to be set manually. The description says it's auto set, but this is a lie. If you take the CR-2032 battery out and put it again, time will reset to 12:00 and it will never auto set to the right time again, you have to do it manually. The time on the clock when you first received it, it's whatever time it was set at the factory, it will never auto set to the perfect time since this is not an atomic clock.
