I'm very happy with the SkyFloat product for many reasons including the solid construction quality and unique & modern design. It's easy to use and never gets in the way as it doesn't clutter up my desk because it hangs from the ceiling. It's easily adjustable depending on my needs. Installation is very easy with only 2 small screws. The price point is excellent for the quality of the product. I'm placing it on my Christmas gift list for my friends and family!

My 13 year old has gotten into playing pool and doing trick shots. He wanted a way to have a camera record so he could see his good shots and potentially record them. We started with the app Video Delay Instant Replay. He can set the delay to any amount of time (15 seconds is usually good) and if he makes a really awesome shot, he can use the screen record feature on his iPhone to record it. He can also AirPlay the screen to our TV. We were putting his phone on a tripod but the tripod was in the way a lot. I found this and read all of the reviews and decided it was worth a try. We decided not to use the adhesive on the magnetic plates and just screwed them into the ceiling. That is easier to cover if/when we want to take them down or move them. We like that it came with two of the plates, we put one on the short side of the pool table and one on the long side. I can see how some people have said the Sky Mount is delicate but we don’t have to use the telescoping feature much. It fits my son’s iPhone 12 mini well and also our iPhone 12s (regular size). We haven’t tried an iPad but I’m sure it would fit. The magnet is strong. We have only had it about two weeks so I can’t speak to the longevity.

Lost its lock in ability soon after purchase, but continued to work. Now the whole end of it snapped off.

Absolute gamechanger for anyone that watches TV in bed to fall asleep. My bed frame doesn't allow for virtually any of the other tools on the market, so when I came across this I was stoked. And, I remained stoked for a good 3 months as I used it.Unforunately, it does not appear this device is built to last. The screws on the tablet mount portion constantly come undone, which isn't a huge deal; I eventually just resorted to some loc-tite to fix that once-and-for-all.However, about 100 days in or so, the mechanism that locks the telescoping functionality has stopped functioning. So it's either use at full extension (which is far too long) or this thing has been rendered useless. There is no FAQ, no troubleshooting section anywhere, and the company must be aware as they have a strict measley 60 day warranty on the product.I sure hope someone sees how great of an idea this is and executes on it with a quality version of this.

The instructions provided were clear and all necessary tools were included.IT is quite versatile since I can use it with the phone and the iPad.Good purchase.

Wow!!! So excited about this one! I am a real estate agent and was looking for something unique, elegant and practical so I can take with me everywhere. SkyFloat is very light weight and sized just right, so I simply take it with me from home to work and from one room to another. I can fit my phone or my tablet easily on it, and use it with clients, for reading, or even to look at a recipe or watch my favorite show as I cook.... the opportunities are just endless for both relaxing time and work.

Love the concept and once it is installed, it works well.The widespread downside is that the telescoping pole frequently collapses in on itself when you raise it up to connect to the metal plate. This is both inconvenient and dangerous, requiring a quick response.I wrote two messages to the seller as directed about the issue (including video) and never heard back. Unfortunate customer service for a product that is pricey for the end use and has such a complicated flaw.

This is my second sky float . Perfect for hands off FaceTime , blogging , making videos . Better than a stand .
