Reusable Soft Gel Hot & Cold Knee Wrap - Pain Relief for Surgery & Torn ACL

Well made and helpful. I had a hip replacement so I use this on my thigh and knee. It's 2 Velcro straps allow you to firmly attach it around the knee, or just use one to hold it to the thigh. Also works well with it just resting on your sore area.

This was used for my son's total knee replacement after surgery. It was similar to the one pre-op showed us but did not have any at the time. It is much easier to use than ice packs. I bought the extra cooling gel pad that slips inside so we could alternate the use of them. The only thing I disliked was the shipping-it took longer than expected because it went to a shipping center on a Friday that did not serve my area and it was the next week before it arrived- a week after the surgery.

I had knee surgery in 2007 and got an amazing wrap-aeound ice pack kit. 17 years later that original pack was turning to dust and leaving black powder everywhere and I couldn't find a replacement--until now. This new ice pack is EXACTLY what I wanted. The pack is the perfect size and fits comfortably around my knees and arms, my husband loves it for his back, and I'm so glad to have a brand new ice pack wrap to replace my old one.

I had ACL surgery and I used this after I stopped needing consistent icing (which I used and ice machine). It is perfect for the short periods of ice and elevation to decrease swelling.

This is my second cool pack. The first one was given to me by my orthopedic surgeon after knee surgery. It fits perfect for me, and the velcro straps cinch it down on my knee for maximum cold contact. The fabric allows the cold to seep through without burning my skin.That being said, I had to buy this one because the velcro fabric wears out after about 9 months, as does the inner liner (starts getting threadbare from repeatedly inserting/removing ice pack). Regardless, I remain a fan and customer.

After have a TKR the Doctor told me to ice my knee. This was the best thing I've found to keep it wrapped and cooled at the same time. The velcro really keeps it in its place.

I've used quite a few different kinds of ice packs as a triathlete of 12 years. These are very soft on the skin and don't feel cold to the touch. But once it's on, the cold starts to build. I get a good 20 minutes of very cold healing which is sufficient for treatment intervals. I could see where people would be disappointed in the size if this were used on a knee but on the arm, they get almost all the way around. I love the straps as I don't have to use an ace bandage and wrestle with that mess. I would highly recommend - they seem like quality construction and materials. Been using them for a month now so this isn't a really long term use review.
