I bought this ram to upgrade an older chromebox I use as a second workstation. The two sticks of 8GB of ram arrived as advertised, were easy to install in place of the original 2GB sticks and booted up without issue. No complaints, exactly as expected!

Have an older Win 10 laptop that won't take 11. Times running out, so I upgraded it to Linux Mint Cinnamon, which does better with more than the original 2 gig memory. Only one SODIMM slot, though. This module did the trick.

It arrived, it fit in the slot, it works.4 stars, rather than 5, for two reasons: (1) same memory available slightly cheaper if you catch it on sale BUT free shipping from Amazon balances that (2) memory seldom fails if it works the first time, but you never know. If I'd reviewed this in five years and it was still working...it'd get 5 stars.

Not the latest SODIMM for laptop but still common enough for 5 - 10 years old laptop. Mine came with 4GB and with this 16GB it runs a little faster. CL 11 is respectable for DDR3L. Please note that this 3L module requires lower energy (1.35V) than 3 (1.5V) and could also run on laptop with higher energy requirement. Good buy.

I'm usually a bit skeptical about product descriptions and reviews which claim a technology piece is plug and play. I'm about as far from tech-competent as can be and used to dealing with that one extra little step everyone else takes for granted, thinking anyone but an idiot would know that step without saying. Well, I'm that idiot. I'm the one who scours the 'Tuube looking for answers which are obvious to everyone else. So I was pretty surprised when I dumped in a pair of these memory doodads and nothing bad happened. As for performance, it's not super easy to tell what I gained (went from 12MB to 16MB). If I were a gamer, perhaps I could tell what this $14 bought me. I figured it was worth a try to slightly improve the performance of a 10 year old PC. Mission accomplished, I think. I give 5 stars solely because I didn't have to seek help after the install.
