I absolutely love this soundtrack, absolutely gorgeous listen. Arrived in good condition.

How I HATE this game with a passion. I bought it, got fed up, sold it, bought it again, beat it, sold it, bought it again, and to this day it still irks me as the game that railroads me into playing a half-ass visual novel-esque dating sim with over a dozen characters, MOST of which kick around infuriatingly unresolved character faults or exist purely to create plot holes all so I can get a measily experience point bonus for one of the most BROKEN turned-based RPG combat systems I've ever played. If it's not punishing your limited in-game time or other resources, it's punishing your limited real-world time with unfair out-of-the-blue gameovers to any who hasn't already glued their eyes to a strategy guide or online FAQ. People often recommend me Persona 4 "because it's better", but as far as I can tell, it's not. It's still just as punishing if you haven't spent the arbitrary amount of time to grind in preparation for the boss battles that force you to rewatch cutscenes OVER and OVER and OVER. While YES, it is good to finally have control of my entire party, they stripped out the option to Split Up and let your party members explore the dungeons on their own! That was like... the COOLEST gameplay feature in Persona 3! Being able to recall my party members from wherever they were in a dungeon to see what kind of loot or paths they found for you is an awesome concept! It's just a shame it's butchered by practically everything else! The other reason I prefer Persona 3 over Persona 4 is the same reason I bought the horrid thing 3 times and forced myself to beat it: THE SOUNDTRACK. I don't know WHAT you call it, if not "Jazz Rap", but Persona 3 has the most bizzare catchy soundtrack that's both funky and epic at the same time. Even for a game I hate so much, it's easily one of the greatest and most memorable soundtracks I've ever heard front to back. Even Persona 4 has a great soundtrack, although it's more "Pop Rap" if that's what you'd call it. Though, admittedly, both Persona 3 and Persona 4 suffer "that one song" syndrome. Despite being games that each feature a single battle theme that will effectively serve as the recurring soundtrack to your 40-hour hell in these games, the battle themes are good! But "Changing Seasons" from Persona 3 and even worse, Persona 4's "Who's There?" are immediately and utterly unappealing to listen to. Changing Seasons is a theme that plays midway from the school year in Persona 3 and it has 45 seconds of build up to the actual song during which it repeats the lyric "Hey!" literally 72 TIMES, and since this theme is tied to the school grounds which you enter and exit constantly, you'll RARELY hear the part of the song that's actually good! You'll hear "Hey!" MORE TIMES IN THIS GAME than you'll ever hear from Navi in Ocarina of Time even if you played the game 5 TIMES OVER. The second I hear this theme I MUTE the game and run for the nearest exit. And YES! I would argue that Persona 4's "Who's There?" is even worse since there almost IS no good part to the song, it's almost entirely a generic dark carnival theme that plays like a skipping record repeating the same 2 second loop OVER and OVER again, and this plays during MOST of the biggest cutscenes, especially during the big reveal at the end of the game! Still, for sake of completeness, P3's soundtrack is absolutely fantastic even with Changing Seasons. 5 Stars. ...Though ironically, some of the best songs from P3's expanded rerelease Persona 3 FES aren't on this soundtrack and have their own exclusive soundtrack. ...and the same goes for Persona 3 Portable. If I want all of Persona 3's music, I'd have to buy 3 soundtracks... ( >_>) . . . ...5 Stars. I hate this game.

As a fan of the Persona series, I was delighted to get my hands on the Persona 3 Original Soundtrack. The music in this game is absolutely incredible, and this soundtrack does not disappoint. From the hauntingly beautiful melody of "Burn My Dread" to the energetic and upbeat "Mass Destruction," the music in Persona 3 perfectly captures the essence of the game. It's rare to find a soundtrack that not only complements the gameplay but also stands on its own as a fantastic piece of music. The Persona 3 Original Soundtrack features 52 tracks, each one unique and memorable in its own way. It's incredible how the music can evoke so many emotions and perfectly set the tone for each scene in the game. I especially appreciated the inclusion of the instrumental tracks. They showcase the incredible talent of the composer, Shoji Meguro, and allow the listener to focus on the intricacies of the music itself. Overall, the Persona 3 Original Soundtrack is a must-have for any fan of the Persona series or anyone who appreciates video game music. The quality of the recording is top-notch, and the packaging is beautiful. Whether you want to relive the memories of the game or simply enjoy some fantastic music, this soundtrack is definitely worth adding to your collection.

An absolutely lovely soundtrack, love the persona series. Sadly I didnt notice until earlier today that there was a crack that I'm assuming was there the day I received as I have only used the disc once, the day I recieved it; I had put the case in a safe area on a shelf of mine but I had not checked the back until today-my fault for not having checked sooner- But oh well, regardless of the crack I got what I wanted and I'm happy with my purchase :)

This contains 2 discs, 50+ songs from the game, worth the buy. If you've played the game, you are already aware of all of the songs that are played during the game. From Mass Destruction (Baby, baby, baby! fight song) to Burn My Dread (The opening song and Battle Version), Troubled (which plays during serious/tense moments), Joy (which plays during Social Links) and even the various Tartarus themes.There's alot here which is better experienced by you listening instead of reading the listing of songs! If you enjoyed these songs and have Persona 3 FES, then check out the additional 17 songs found on P3 FES Original Soundtrack, which has another version of Mass Destruction and various other songs added for P3 FES (mainly). I plan on buying another order of this to boost my Social Links... uh i mean to give to my friends!

'Persona 3' has one of the best soundtracks every put to a video game. The combination of rock, hip-hop, electronic, and jazz -- with the simply perfect touch of cinematic orchestral moments thrown in -- is irresistible. While the tracks on the CD do rely on quite a bit of looping, I never found it to be an issue in the game and subsequent listening experiences haven't ruined the love I have for this soundtrack: one of the best out there.

Il case del CD è purtroppo rovinato in alcuni punti, che rischiano di staccarsi, ma del resto bisogna aspettarsi cose simili per oggetti usati (ci tengo a dire che i CD e il libretto incluso sono in perfette condizioni). Se siete fan di questo grande gioco e adorate la soundtrack, consiglio vivamente l'acquisto. Pollice in su anche per il venditore!

This must be my favorite persona soundtrack ever! The music is great, how else could it be when most of it is written by the master himself, Meguro Shoji, but the CD comes with a nice booklet with more info on the tracks that were written and of course lyrics to the songs as well! As an extra you get a small transcription on how to play the aria of the soul, THE persona track that everyone knows who's familiar with the series.
