Works great
Works like a dream! Cuts smoothly, no knocks ever, easy to clean, good design and build quality. So far for months now has worked flawlessly. Battery power lasts over a week of daily use. And healthy amount of accessories included. Only tiny bummer, it does terrible when stuble grows too long. Best for short to smooth skin maintenance.

Wow. Dispel the antiquated ideas about the efficacy of an electric razor.
Out of all of the products I’ve purchased this year, this razor leads the pack. I didn’t want to spend 350+ for an electric razor—I have an extremely thick beard, and didn’t want to risk throwing money away since the last time I used an electric razor was back in college in the 80s-/Back then, the razors couldn’t compare with the blades. Well, this breed of electric razors shatters those old memories —this isn’t your dad’s electric shaver. This is a whole new experience, providing exceptional results an extremely close shave (esp in relation to my expectations). Your skin may take some time getting accustomed to this equipment—first few times I shaved, I had some redness/slight irritation—but that’s all gone. High quality, easy to clean, very easy to use, and does what you want it to do. Note—despite the close shave one gets from this big guy, it seems like the hair grows back more quickly than when using a standard blade/shaving cream. A close shave with a razor can get me through 24 hours+. This razor, while remarkable in its ability to closely shave my heavy beard, seems to stimulate more rapid growth—so if I shave before work at 7am, I’d shave again before dinner that night. Worth the investment!! This one is no joke.

Durable quality shaver but came with an open box and missing charger
The Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV67 is a great product which in this day manufctred in Japan which is known for its quality and durability. Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV67 does an excellent job with providing you a clean close shave. Have been using it as a dry shaver and the performance is truly incredible. The only thing is that my Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV67 arrived with a tampered open box and the charger was missing. This one is one of the few times or actually one of its first kind that the Amazon delivery with Amazon as a seller the box arrived with the open box and the charger was missing.. Amazon gave me a small credit enough to purchase a replacement charger and instead of returning the shaver I decided to keep it. Have been using regularly and getting clean comfortable close shaves as good as the razor blade shave. So all in all very good product specially when you have to leave early morning for work and i had to shave before going to sleep but now the new Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV67 does the job for me without worrying about spending the time and effort for a regular shave. But the open box does take the satisfaction and experience of a sealed box away.. Hey but then it was my decision to stick with it.. As I said it was a small credit given by Amazon and then the price had also gone up if I wanted to cancel and reorder a new one.. Even with the made in Japan product and the excellent quality I still think the price point is a little higher which comes with a brand name like Panasonic otherwise the Chinese brands with similar specs are priced around 30% less.. Its still very early to give a true verdict on the long term durability of the shaver but prior experience with Panasonic shavers they do pay for themselves with their quality and durability.. Would recommend this Panasonic ARC 5 ES-LV67 for anyone who wants a close and comfortable shave both dry and wet..

Excellent shaver, especially when paired with the ES9036 Replacement Foil & Blades
I'm a long-time Panasonic Wet/Dry shaver user. I've tried Brauns and Norelcos, but I've returned them and always gone back to Panasonics for the simple fact that Panasonics shave the closest. Over the years, I've owned Arc3, Arc4, and most recently, the venerable LV65-S Arc5 shaver, which is now relegated to backup duty with my purchase of this LV67 shaver. The LV67 is hands down the best Panasonic I've ever owned, especially when paired with the Panasonic Replacement Blade Set ES9036 - the one with the two gold rollers - which is also available here on Amazon. With this combination of shaver and foil, I get a smooth irritation-free shave that is closer than either a single edge or cartridge/disposable blade shave. This setup is also great at capturing the flat-lying hairs under the chin and on the neck that seem to grow in different directions and are notoriously difficult for electric shavers to capture. (I usually pass a Gillette Mach 3 under the chin at the conclusion of each shave just to be sure I've gotten everything.) With the LV67/ES9036 combo, I also no longer suffer from ingrown hairs on my cheeks that I used to experience with the close, but slightly irritating, LV65-S. The LV67 has a floating head that articulates in more directions than the LV65-S. I shave by completing one pass of my face with the head of the shaver unlocked, and then lock the head and do one more pass of my entire face. I shave wet in the shower with a dime-size portion of Bump Patrol Cool Shave Gel (also available on Amazon) spread across my face, which allows the shaver to glide and produces zero irritation. I then dry my face and apply a little Nivea Cooling After Shave Balm (also available on Amazon). A note about cleaning Panasonic wet/dry shavers: you don't need the Panasonic cleaning station, so skip the cleaning station and invest the extra cash in an ES9036 shaving foil set. It's easy enough to clean these shavers with liquid soap and water. When I'm done shaving, I rinse the shaver off to remove any hairs and shaving gel and then I dunk the head of the running shaver for 10-15 seconds in a small cup of water mixed with a little Dawn liquid soap that I keep in my shower stand. I then rinse the soapy residue off and then separate the foil from the shaver and set it down to allow it to dry between shaves. This helps to keep the shaver clean and prevents it from accumulating gunk from shaving creams/gels and hair. The only drawback I've seen after having owned many Panasonic shavers is that the batteries in their shavers only last about two years. In the past, I've had to make two warranty claims for Panasonics due to dead batteries, and both times Panasonic sent me a brand new shaver. I hope the battery longevity issue has been resolved with this LV97 shaver. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this shaver for purchase. UPDATE 11/2/2022 - After owning this shaver for almost two years, the battery has now died. The shaver wont turn on and won't accept a charge. I've submitted it to Panasonic under their 2 year warranty and should receive my replacement within 2 weeks.

I’ve wasted 12 years of buying razors..
I’ll preface this by saying I purchased this today and have only used it once. I’ll update this along at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year of usage. I have a bald head and prefer my face shaved. I’ve been shaving my head for the past 12 years, and my face for almost 15 years (in my earth 30’s). I have an awful, thick cul-de-sac natural hair growth pattern, and hate the way my head looks after about 3 days of razor shaving my head, but it is honesty such a PITA that I usually only do it every Sunday morning, but by Sunday I’m looking pretty rough. I prefer my face shaven, but grow tired of the intense razor burn and bumps I always get on my chin and neck. So the only way to minimize the rash is to use a super fresh, sharp razor, but shaving my face and my head multiple times a week with only 1-2 uses per blade has really been racking up some serious coin over the years. So I usually just run the Clippers with no guard over my face and settle for some minor stubble. After watching some YouTube channels trying to find some videos on the best, easiest, cheaper way to razor shave my head, I found a video discussing how Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson shaves his head, and I was shocked to see him holding an electric shaver (not this, but the Braun Series 9 Pro). I knew nothing about electric shavers whatsoever. I’ve never even personally met a man that has experience with them, so I spent about a week researching them. After watching a dozen or so hours worth of shaver reviews on YouTube, it pretty much came down to this shaver, the Panasonic Arc5 and the Braun Series 9 Pro. Multiple videos corroborated each other by saying the Arc 5 gets a much closer shave, but the Braun is way more forgiving for a newbie. My cul-de-sac flashed before my eyes and I knew I needed the closest shave possible to fend off this thick horseshoe on my scalp. I received this model today, charged it for about an hour, and nervously stuck it to my face. Was it going to pull? Was it going to pinch? How could this thing actually cut the hair when you can’t see or feel any sharp edges? I did one there-and-back pass over my cheek and all the hair was gone. Just like magic. I quickly did my whole face and head and I’m absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the simplicity and effectiveness of this device. I did my whole head and face in about 10 minutes, but the hair was pretty thick on both regions, and I was going slow as I built confidence with it. I imagine I could do my head and face every other day in prob 5 mins or less. There are spots that I guess I pressed harder on then others, and those spots are completely smooth with no stubble felt whatsoever. I would say if on a scale of 1-10 and ten is sharp, long stubble and a razor shave is a 0, this shaver left my head and face at about a 0.5-1.0. It’s pure magic. The hair gets trapped inside and isn’t all over me or the sink. When I’m done I just pop the top off and rinse it out. I can’t believe I went my whole life without using an electric foil shaver. I immediately started texting all of my bald friends to recommend them throw away their razors and get them one of these. I would say I’m pretty hard to impress—I’ve been using Amazon for close to a decade with dozens of items ordered a month and I’ve only left a handful of reviews. This product warrants the praise and is WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Excellent Electric Razor!
I bought this new ARC5 a little over a week ago and it's by far the best electric shaver I've ever had. I needed to replace my ARC4 electric razor which was finally giving out after over 5 years of use. I looked at doing the ARC6, but couldn't justify spending over $300 for an electric razor. In fact, I got this one on sale for $144 and probably one of the best investment I could have made. After shaving, my head feels as smooth as a baby's butt and cleaning it is straightforward and easy: just a little soap and warm water after each use. Great investment and I hope to get years of use out of it. From my guys out there that shave their head and want a close shave, I definitely recommend it.

Average as electric razor and disappointing to have it die in 6 months
OK shaver. Not especially as comfortable or closer shaves than other shavers I’ve had. I realize I should have spent more money to buy another Braun. The one star is it simply quit working, won’t take a charge, after six months. Warranty does not replace the product. Panasonic will only do a repair. I don’t think this is particularly unusual, but it’s annoying to come up with an alternative in the meantime. I’d probably be less disturbed if I really thought it was a wonderful shaver.

Unbelievably good!!!!! Wow!!! The best!
This shaver is incredible. I have never had a closer shave in my entire life!!! It works better than anything I’ve ever tried in my entire life. I am getting a closer shave than I usually did when using shaving cream and a manual razor. I’m shocked. I’m surprised the reviews aren’t higher on Amazon. Everywhere else says the Panasonic Arc 5 is one of the very best. I have a sensitive face and this is the first product I’ve used that gave me NO skin irritation. The fact that it shaves this closely with no irritation is mind blowing. It is really easy to clean. Follow the manual. The cleaning station is not worth the additional cost. But if you want the cleaning station you have to get it at the same time as the shaver. You can’t add a cleaning station later. But I don’t see a need. There are many variations of the Arc 5 and it is confusing. There isn’t a big difference between the different generations. This one is slightly newer than the the original but the difference is minimal. If you’re looking for a high-end shaver, this is the one to get. Don’t overpay for a European brand. Panasonic rocks at shaving.
