Paleovalley 100% Grass Fed Bone Broth Protein Powder, Unflavored

I have only been using this a week, but it seems fine. Blends well in hot water. However I then purchased the vanilla flavor and it is horrible. Way too sweet! The monk fruit in it taste so artificial. I didn’t want a sweet protein just vanilla flavor. My advice is stick with the unflavored.

The best protein powder I have found! No taste and it mixes so easy!! A little pricey but worth it!

Love this so much!!! I first tried it from a restaurant called Burger & Butcher who sold it for the same price as Amazon, but with subscribe and save, I saved 20%, so it was worth it to me. I love this beef collagen protein powder because I cannot have whey and this is bone broth protein. I love that it's unflavored because I'm allergic to stevia and the monk fruit is often too sweet. I can add my own dates or honey or just fruit to my smoothies to sweeten it. I didn't have my powder for 2 weeks and I think my health suffered. I'm so glad to have my daily smoothies, but this time with the protein collagen powder. I didn't realize how much I needed it until I didn't have it. My hair is shinier and thicker too.

My advice is: do not waste your money on this Paleo Valley bone broth powder. The bag we got was foul-smelling and inedible, and I saw at least a dozen other 1-star reviews saying the same thing. I've bought several different brands of bone broth and collagen powder over the years, and I have never had another one with a disgusting smell like this. It smelled so strongly of chemicals, like toxic melted plastic. We were afraid to eat it and I'm glad, since other peoples' reviews said they got upset stomachs and even vomited after eating it. Like other reviewers, I also tried to contact Paleo Valley by email to report the problem and request a replacement or refund, but other than an automatic reply promising they'd respond in 3-4 business days, I never heard from them. Though the listing says no refunds, Amazon was kind enough to make an exception for me when I said the product seemed defective and spoiled and should probably be recalled, and that I'd had no reply to my two emails to Paleo Valley. If you got a bad bag too, please pursue a refund. This business shouldn't profit from selling a gross food product that makes people sick and can't be eaten!

The only issue I had with this product was the price, but other than that it was really good. The quality is great and it mixes well, and I like knowing it is made from grass‑fed ingredients. Overall, I was very happy with it despite the higher cost.

I love this protein powder! I have tried many and have not liked any of them until I found this. It is tasteless which is what I wanted and its not grainy. Other powders I have tried are usually grainy and hard to mix in. I put this in the coffee every morning and it goes unnoticed. I have recommended this powder to everyone in my family and they love it too. I don't have any issues with digestion and I think the quality of this product is well worth the price.

UPDATE: After using this in my coffee I am happy to report it truly is tasteless. Definitely don’t recommend in cold drinks but in hot drinks it works great I’ve only had this item a few hours but I was excited to try it when I got it. I got the unflavored one and it’s definitely unflavored lol. It has an undertaste of…game? I can’t put my finger on it but maybe if I add it to coffee or soup or something it’ll be more disguised. I know it’s from beef so I didn’t expect no flavor at all…it’s just weird lol. It does dissolve well even in cold stuff. I put it in my iced tea a little at a time and it dissolved just fine. I’m really really picky about tasting things that are unpleasant and this is unpleasant but tolerable lol. Plus it’s supposed to be super good for me while breastfeeding so I’ll push thru. But just know if you’re sensitive to really weird tastes this might not be for you. It even sticks around on your tongue after you’re done eating or drinking lol

I’m impressed - I was worried even the no flavor version would be detectable in smoothies etc but it really is flavorless.
