Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations: Learn and understand the functionality of Microsoft's enterprise solution

Great information
I have 4 editions of his books "Using Microsoft Dynamics [AX 2012/365 for Finance and Operations]" and find all of them very informative and helpful. Some functional-level books on AX 2012/D365F&O are almost nothing but screenshots, with little to no explanation or words; "Click button X" followed by a screenshot. "Then click button Y" followed by another screenshot. "Then select Z from the dropdown", followed by a screenshot. That teaches you nothing. Why am I selecting Z, instead of A, or B, or C? What affect on system functionality does selecting Z have, as opposed to other options? Etc.Andreas' books are not like that. While there are screenshots in his books (which is a good thing), they do not constitute anywhere near the bulk of the material. The books contents are mostly text - in typical chapter, section, paragraph, sentence style - with explanations of key modules and key processes, and there is an index at the end. With his books, you get understanding.

Nice little reference
This book has purchased itself. It has helped me clarify peculiar little details that tend to pop-up, where I cannot find the exact answers on the world wide web.It is not a manual. It is more of a reference, and it explains certain features in a way that is necessary for a consultant or end user to better understand the software's capability.I am very happy that I purchased this book.

Beyond great.
It’s exactly what I was looking for and needed. Just started working with D365 as an erp analyst 6 months ago and this book has most everything you need to know. It’s a true 5 star book.
