Ideal match for my application.
I just received my Dokio folding solar panel from Amazon a short while ago. Iโm brand new to solar panel technology, so my review is not based on a lot of experience. Here is what I can say: The panel and solar controller worked great right out of the box. I replaced the battery cable that came installed with an SAE connector pigtail. With that, I could connect an SAE extension 14 AWG cable to my power boxes that have LiFePO4 batteries inside. The panel and charger seem to be an ideal fit for this application and charging began immediately at 13.4v in full sun. The only cons would be: 1. Wobbly legs on the panel. 2. The manual does not fully explain all features of the solar controller. 3. The carrying and storage case should have some padding to better protect the glass. I solved this problem be using the foam packing sheets that came with the panel and placing them inside the carrying case. All in all, Iโm very happy with the performance.

Nice glass folding 100 watt panel. Handle carefully.
When I received my first panel, I was disappointed that, like another reviewer noted, one of the 2 panels was shattered. Since the shipping box was intact, I do not know when, where, or how that happened. I requested a replacement so I could do a proper review of the merits of the panel and it arrived quickly. The second unit was perfectly in order. I am docking 1 star because the manufacturer really should have installed the 2 handles instead of making the end user install them with the included screwdriver. The handles were awkward to install as the holes that were pre-drilled were not very clean and I had to work to get the 4 screws through them after cleaning up the holes. Once assembled, this makes a nice little package for 100 watts of solar. It is easy to store in the included bag. The bag has openings that accommodate the handles so when you carry it, there is no stress (weight) on the fabric of the cover. Nice touch. They also included 4 extra plastic corners in case you aren't careful and bang the corners. I have used the folding soft panels that are made with fabric and I am not a fan. Those are difficult to keep standing up, especially in any wind. This folding glass panel is far more substantial and sturdy when set on the ground. Each panel has its own leg and stays in position easily. My intention is to use this as extra power when camped with my RV. I have panels on the roof, but they are flat and, depending on where I can park, can be subject to shading which dramatically reduces power production. With this little unit, I am able to set it at whatever angle and in whatever direction needed to take the most advantage of the sun. Since it uses common Anderson plugs, it will be easy to connect the panel to my battery when I arrive at my destination by just adding a matching Anderson socket to my battery. There are 2 USB-A output socket on the little 10a controller, and a notation that the unit is usable even when not connected to a battery.

Dokio solar panel
0901, 27May22 This item took longer than expected to arrive. With a side mounted solar panel connector on my camper, I purchased the appropriate plug and wiring - followed the instructions on YouTube to attach it. However, it failed to charge the battery. So, I disconnected from the camper and attached the connection directly to the battery and it charged just fine. Now I need to find out why the battery didn't charge via the side mounted solar panel connector.

Good performance, bad quality control.
First real test of this unit was to run a compressor type cooler on the beach while charging a 12V car battery. It did both just fine. Unfortunately that is when I realized one of the panels was laminated with a chipped solar cell in it. Thankfully it still put out over 5A of current. I saw it hit 5.5A when pointed properly at the sun so it is well within spec for this panel. The bag is another story, after 1 use the handle on the bag started to come off. Lastly the legs are cut quite sharp and may damage the back of the panel pretty fast. I put some electric tape over it to help as they are very difficult to take off to grind down the sharp edges. The panels are glass so they should last a very long time.

Great item!
Very easy to assemble and has a nifty case to pack them away when not in use. My husband purchased this item to help keep our travel trailer battery charged and to charge electronic devices (phones, iPads etc) to decrease our generator usage. The panels have 2 USB plugs on the back, so as long as you have your charging cables and some sun, you are good to go! Definitely a great purchase!

Good panel but need to modify to charge portable generators
Works fine. However in order to make it compatible with portable generators (basically giant batteries) you need an Anderson connector/plug. I had to cut the output wires (the ones with the battery clamps) and rig up an Anderson connector that I bought separately. Now I can charge my Duracell powersource.

Great way to recharge your RV batteries
I keep three travel trailers in my back yard. There is no utilities available for them. With the solar charging system, I keep the operational batteries charged to keep them from freezing during the winter or discharging during the rest of the year and I can perform maintenance on the units using lights and other trailer systems. Everything one needs to utilize this unit is provided. The frame is not robust but should perform adequately as it is a stationary unit sitting on the ground.

Love it but the legs are wobbly!
It is hard to come by solar kits that include legs and that are manurable and easily stored. The unit is really sturdy, but the legs could be sturdier. Would like it to come with other battery attachment options though. My RV allows me to attach outside panels to my batteries via a cigarette-type attachment. This means that I have to modify the solar panel hook-up. Would also like the option to have the unit come in greater than 100 watts. Overall I am really happy with this foldable unit. It comes with a durable cover for storage and it is well designed so the unit folds into half its size which makes it easy to store. The handle is well made as is the overall unit. I highly recommend this product. this is an update: I bought this panel a year ago. one reviewer said it drained his battery when plugged in overnight. I looked into this via my battery meter and I found the panel did not drain my battery. The panel worked well for me over the summer. I thought I buy another but when I looked at the price, the panel has increased from under $200 to over $500.

Disappointed
The cable length from panel to potential battery location is to short. Needs about another 10 feet. The battery clamps are of poor thin metal quality.
