Similarly to the last comment, these are a faded color. The pen itself doesn't match the design of what is shown in the image either.

I'm extremely disappointed to find that the box of pens I received are not the pens pictured in the ad. Frankly the pens I got look like a knock off, appear to be more cheaply made. If these are supposed to be some kind of discount version the ad should clearly say so.

I saw another reviewer say these might not be real sharpie pens, so I wanted to put an end to that rumor. These are legit fine-tip Sharpie felt tip pens (not markers). This is my favorite writing utensil; I wish Sharpie had been making pens my whole life. Also, you can't beat this price. I took a star of because the packaging is ridiculous. The twelve pens come in a cardboard box, but each INDIVIDUAL pen is wrapped in shrink-wrap cellophane that has to be peeled off the pen in order to use it. These plastic wrappings aren't perforated, so it's hard to get a nick in it to start tearing it away, and you have to individually unwrap each pen. It's not environmentally friendly and it's annoying.So, up to you, whether you prefer cheap pens or whether you'd rather not be annoyed and be more environmentally friendly.

I used to use other pens and every so often they would explode on me and get ink all over right in the middle of a client meeting. These I have never had a problem with. Highly reccomend sharpie pens to everyone.

And when you peel the annoying sticker off, then you are holding a sticky pen. REALLY. You are selling these by the box - don't put stickers on each of them. Good: these are authentic Pentel pens just like others I've gotten at office supply store. Great pen.

I love writing with Sharpie Pens. They don't bleed. I usually have to buy a set of multi-color. Was pleased to find a box of all purple. Pens arrived quickly.

Love everything about this pen and it came in 2 days as advertised.

Great pens I just wish they lasted longer.
