No more accidentally ripping earphones out during play!
The Quest audio is fantastic, but of course not everyone wants to hear what you are playing, especially when they can't see what you can! I love having immersive audio as it just enhances the overall VR experience, so using earphones is a must for me.I started using normal headphones, but during intense beat saber sessions would accidentally catch them and rip them from my ears... this ruined the gameplay but could eventually kill my earphones, so I needed something better. My requirements were therefore:No trailing wires - short runs between the audio ports and my earsI needed earphones which I could easily travel with also, ideally fitting in the Oculus Quest official travel caseNo additional batteries to chargeGood bass... I love Beat Saber and Pistol Whip, both for me need those deep bass notes for extra enjoyment! These headphones have delivered on all of my needs. I've never had them fall out or even close to being pulled out. They pack easily (I do't actually need to even remove them!). The sound is great. Really the Quest needs to come with something like this as standard!

Just 6 months life span.
I bought these in February this year and they were great while they lasted. The sound quality was decent enough. And they were ideal for not having to wrangle with regular earphones and having to keep the cable out of the way constantly.Unfortunately, they've just now started to fail on me. The sound suddenly started to get much quieter and lost what bass it had. Which is not ideal when your main games of choice are music rhythm games.I was initially worried it was a Quest problem, but plugging in a regular pair that I've had for much longer, I found the sound quality fine again. So it was definitely these. So I'm a lil disappointed at the longevity of them. Only 6 months of use isn't very good, imo.

Ok, not great sound quality or volume, but fit well.
They fit well and they prevent sounds spillage.Audio quality wise, or in terms of volume, they are not much better than the internal speakers though, pretty low grade and if anything they are a bit less immersive.I use the Quest in a quiet environment though, I guess that, if my intention was to shut out environmental sounds, these would help a lot.The cable lenght is just fine, neither too long nor too short.

Sounds great, generally impractical
The good - they sound better (though not a lot) than the internal speakers in the headset. There's certainly a rich bass and clear mids, my hearing doesn't go off into the clouds any more so I can't say much for the higher end.But -and it's a big one - those little cables which look super on the picture, brilliantly imagined so they don't get tied in your hair, glasses, ears, pet cat... are also so short they pull the buds clean out of your ears almost the instant you move the headset. Even if it's just to move it around on your face, the wires are so taut, that almost the slightest movement is enough to wrench them clean out of your ears. This is really irritating after a while and I'm beginning to think I should send them back for this very reason. It's a case of a great idea that doesn't work well in practise. A Bluetooth connection (still sadly missing from the Quest, oddly) would be a far better proposition. Most other wired phones are going to suffer from similar problems.10/10 for innovation, but 2/10 for practicality. Oh well.

No reason to get the Oculus ones
I bought this as I did not want to shell out the price of the Oculus originals. I found these worked very well and I have nothing to complain about. Sound quality is okay, cables are short and it gives you full immersion. On any other accessory such as the case, I went with Oculus branded products. This was an exception but have no regrets for it, this pair does a very good job at a reasonable price.

Excellent!
The Earbuds satisfy the need great, the sound quality on each earbud is great with the perfect distance of wire to not get caught and not get dragged out whilst playing. Bit on the expensive side but more than sufficient for any VR gamer!

Brilliant for the price.
I know the Oculus built-in headphones are good but these are absolutely worth getting. They're so much better than standard earphones as they hang the right height from each side to not disturb you in VR. They also come in a handy pouch with different sized buds. I've had no issues with sound quality at all. Perfect for playing Beat Saber and other games where the volume gets cranked up (or if you want to avoid bothering people around you).
