I knew that my stock speakers in my Toyota Corolla were nothing to write home about, but after installing the component set with the 6.5 inch woofers and tweeters, I am shocked how much clearer the sound is. In my opinion, the slightly more complex install with the separate tweeters is well worth it. To have the extra detail in the mids and highs at ear level makes it so much more fun to listen to music in the car. I combined them with a matching set of 6x9 coaxials in the back, and a small, powered sub under my driver seat. The system is absolutely perfect for my needs, and everything but the sub runs off of the integrated amp in the head unit. This is a very respectable set of speakers that took me by surprise.

Great speakers. Sound is good. Now the covers will stay on and not fall at my feet like my old speakers.

I have these Kicker speakers on an amp and I run about 100 watts RMS to each channel. Clear the tweeters are crisp and bright and I have no complaints whatsoever I've had them in for 4 years and they still sound fantastic listening to them at max volume every time I'm in the car.
