Works perfectly
This works perfectly as either a replacement or additional solenoid valve for the Aqualin water timer. I have 3 of these on my automatic timer and all work faultlessly and have done so for 2 summers now.

The build quality is not great. Quite thin plastic cove and the plug does not have an O ring to repel moisture when plugged into the timer unit.

Use of valve on other systems
I bought these to use on a custom system, they do work as long as you do this:Add a Flyback Diode, one is not in the valve.They do need max 10.8V supply and draw 1.5A when on.The wires are coloured red and white, surprisingly white is positive and red is negative !
