You can have quality on a budget with lots of color options
Amazing set of watercolors, lots of color options for a very affordable price. I am very pleased with how creamy this set is, how easy it is to work with and mix colors. Iām fairly new to watercolor and have a variety of brands and levels of quality.I am very pleased that I found the perfect set for me! I wish I found it sooner because it wouldāve saved me a lot of money from all the cheap brands that were not very fun to work with.

Surprisingly vivid and easy to work with
I didnāt know what to expect, itās really hard to trust art supplies that claim to be professional, especially on this site. From reviews Iāve watch online this watercolor works like professional grade watercolors (meaning it disperses/flows well into water, it is intense in color/pigment load, it has strong color retaining ability in sunlight, it moves across good quality watercolor paper easily which makes washes and blends easier to accomplish). All of these it does. What shocked me was how well these watercolor paints worked even on lower quality pulp watercolor and mixed media paper, and even with water brushes. The paint stays smooth, wet, and able to flow or be moved longer than any dry watercolor pans Iāve ever worked with.Thereās something I canāt describe that brings me a level of joy and excitement working with these paints that my other similarly priced sets donāt match. I regularly use Winsor Newton Cotman (and Phoenix which seems to be a very similar dupe) and MeiLiang (aka āPretty Excellentā). Cotman is great if you want total control over colors staying exactly where you place them. MeiLiang is more slightly more intense but a little less controllable. This set is more like MeiLiang, but easier to work with (better flow, better gradient blending, slower drying time), better dried appearance especially of mass tone and dry on wet application), and richer colors once dried for most colors.I also really appreciate the range of floral and earth tones in this palette. Some colors require longer activation (the time between wetting the pan before loading your brush) to get full color depth, especially the metallics and pearl white.I think this will be a paint I stick with for a long time. It appears to perform as close to the top professional brands at half (or more) of the cost. I also love the fact these work well with all types of paper (even card stock) so I can use it for card making and mixed media adult coloring with colored pencils or water soluble colored pencils.

Great color variations, good for beginners
This set includes 48 different colors that look really good and have a good quality. This item is great for beginners as the set is fairly priced and the quality is good enough to work with.Keep in mind you would also need a good quality brushes with it.REMEMBER to not let the pans out for a long period of time so they won't dry out.

In shock at how amazing these aee
I have quite different companies but I wanted to try these out because the reviews were good. I was in complete shock at how Vivid the colors were. In addition this is the very first watercolor palette I have used where you can literally take a wet brush and start painting there's no activation or dabbing with water on the colors beforehand. Take your wet brush and dive in head first and you were good to go. On YouTube I see a lot of the popular brands and I'm shocked that this is not gained more traction. This is good for beginners and professionals alike. The only con that I don't necessarily consider a con is since these are pure pigments and the gum arabic without fillers, the colors almost have a natural granulating effect without being an actual granulating paint. I'm really impressed with these I bought two moreš

Fabulous watercolors! Well worth the buy.
Beautiful paints. They are intense and yet still transparent. They are a great value and the 4 metallics are amazing. They go on smooth and look richly pigmentedAll the colors are amazing but the crimson and the cerulean blue are especially are stunning. If you are new to watercolor or you want to upgrade a palette . Try this one.

FINALLY decided to try these!
I have been contemplating on getting a student grade watercolor set for years. My professional tube paints crack and fall out of the pans too much and I needed something more convenient. Because I like Prima, I decided to give these a try since they are the same, but much more affordable. I'm SO GLAD I did! They are perfect for what I need and the price is incredible for what you get. If I had to complain about anything, I will say that the ultramarine blue and burnt sienna aren't completely the correct hue, but that isn't worth knocking a star off because the price is completely worth it!Should you buy this? If you are new to watercolor and don't have paint yet, 100% yes! If you are wanting for plein air, it's a bit heavy, I would use but you may want something smaller and lighter. If you are wanting to add to your collection, and you like Prima, yes! I would buy. If you are looking for professional paint, I would not buy.**Artist credit for both paintings go to Shayda Campbell tutorials on YouTube for: anemones and daisies
