The vegan formula absolutely works! Better hair and nails in 3 months!
The vegan version has absolutely improved my hair and nails! I can objectively state that my hair is growing faster, thicker, shinier, and less "wiry". I leave fewer hairs on the hairbrush than I used to, so I think my hair is also stronger. An area of thinning around where my hair naturally parts has filled back in. My nails are growing faster, longer, stronger, and more evenly. I'm always skeptical about personal reviews for supplements, since the outcomes are often very individualized and subjective, but I can absolutely tell a difference after using “Vital Vitamins Vegan Collagen Booster - Plant-Based Collagen Supplements - Supports Hair, Skin, Nails & Joints - with Hyaluronic Acid - 60 Capsules” for three months. I take one capsule in the morning and one at night (with meals) and have had no side effects. I was looking for a hair support formula for some time, but they all contained animal products or were super expensive. I’m delighted to have found a vegan product that produces visible results at a fair price. Vital Vitamins and Amazon, please keep this product available!

Reliable, real results- No influencer here
Proof you can glow up without giving up pancakesI’ve been taking these collagen pills for months, and while I haven’t reversed aging or developed mermaid hair (yet), I have noticed some serious upgrades: my skin is smoother, my nails grow like they’re training for the Olympics, and my joints are way less dramatic during workouts.Best part? No mixing, no mystery powders, no sad smoothies that taste like regret. Just a couple of pills with water, and you’re off living your best life—glowing quietly like a well-moisturized legend.✅ Pros:Multi-type collagen (I, II, III, V & X = overachiever formula)Noticeably better skin and nail healthJoints feel less crankyNo taste, no mess, no effortActually affordable for a daily supplement⚠️ Cons:Pills are a bit big, but not horse-pill badYou’ll start expecting compliments. They may arrive.Serious note: I’ve used this brand consistently for several months and have seen reliable, real results. If you’re looking for a collagen supplement that actually does something—and fits into a realistic, non-influencer lifestyle—this is a solid choice I truly recommend.

A very good supplement
I've been taking these for about 3 months, I can tell a real difference in my nails and hair. My nails are stonger and my hair is growing quicker. I take it with my daily vitamins without problems. No taste . I feel that this is a quality product.

Good for seniors
At my age (80) it’s hard to keep hair, skin nails, etc. in good shape. I’ve been using this for about a year and I honestly think it helps. The most visible clue is my nails are longer and not as fragile. I will continue to use it because it is the only thing I have found that helps! I know there’s more expensive supplements that promise, hair and nail growth but this one does just fine for me…

Hairstylist recommended
Why did you pick this product vs others?:As a hairstylist of 25 years, I recommend this product to many of my clients when they are struggling with hair loss. Whether they’re getting older or they’ve changed their diet and I’ve started losing hair. This is the number one thing I will recommend to them to stop the loss of hair and to improve the overall integrity. Especially if someone is doing a low carb high protein diet they need this as a balance to prevent hair loss.

Some of the Side Effects of Taking Collagen Supplements (Including the ones I experienced)
I have been taking this product since early March 2025 for joint support. I had also started exercising regularly a few weeks earlier and eating a lot healthier, to reduce my weight and have overall better health. In late March, I noticed a small rash on my inner thigh (it fit under a 2x3 band aid). My doctor couldn't identify it but, because I've had relative who have had Shingles, she said it might be that. I was preventatively prescribed an antibiotic and a topical steroid treatment. They took away the uncomfortable symptoms but the rash remains. I noticed that I also developed very mild acne and brittle finger and toe nails. The acne went away but the brittle nails persist. Because I'd made three changes at about the same time (exercise, diet and collagen supplement), I attributed these issues to my body adjusting, expecting them to resolve over time. I did notice, however, my joints felt better. I recently spoke with my sister and she told me she had tried to take different collagen supplements but they all caused her to have rashes on her inner thighs so she stopped taking them. A lightbulb went off in my head and I looked up the possible side effects of taking collagen supplements. I found listed among them not only the side effects I experienced but those of many other people who provided comments here. I'm sharing the side affects I found on the web, for your awareness and to help in your decision-making about this and other brands. This list is not exhaustive; there may be other side effects. What causes collagen side effects?Collagen intake has its benefits, but some people may exhibit side effects due to various factors, including collagen intolerance and improper collagen dosage. Side effects manifest as clinical symptoms best identified by a medical professional. These symptoms vary from one individual to another:Skin: Rashes, acne breakouts, or general skin inflammation. May be due to collagen sensitivity, chemical additives in collagen supplements, and contaminated natural collagen sources.Liver: Liver fibrosis from excessive accumulation of type I collagen in the liver tissue. May worsen the liver's condition, as unmanaged liver fibrosis can lead to liver cancer.Kidneys: Kidney stones. Hydroxyproline is a major collagen amino acid that is normally disposed of through the kidneys as oxalate, a kidney stone trigger.Stomach: Digestive problems including diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn, bloating and reduced appetite. Chemical additives greatly contribute to these reactions.Heart: Hypercalcemia (an overaccumulation of calcium which can lead to abnormal heart rhythm).
