Field Guide to the Weather: Learn to Identify Clouds and Storms, Forecast the Weather, and Stay Safe

Great photos and descriptions of various weather phenomena but I was also hoping for more info on weather forecasting in a pinch when you're off-grid and don't have access to media or NOAA weather radio. However, the book finally made me seriously consider setting up a real home weather station out at the shack so based on that, I give it all five stars.

A nice reference book for better understanding weather patterns.

I was looking for a good field guide for my Uncrewed Autonomous Systems (otherwise known as Drones) students. This would be good for the basic outdoors person but falls short of giving good pictures for things that should be grounding a UAS mission. The price was fair. There are better field books out there. However, if all you want to know is the very basics, then this one is a good one.

This book is very useful, I learned so much and love it. This is now my go to book.

But this book is great. It’s easy to understand, thorough and very interesting. The photographs and explanations are excellent and it’s well organized so it’s easy to grab for a quick reference.
