Silk’n Flash&Go Replacement Cartridge (3 Count) - At Home Permanent Hair Removal Device for Women and Men - 1,000 Pulses

I got a Silk'n Flash&Go in 2015 and have never replaced the bulb. It worked really well when I first got it, then over the years I got lazy about occasional maintenance. I pulled it back out a few months ago (I use it on my face, thanks PCOS) and noticed it just didn't work well. I thought well of course I've never replaced a bulb, so I got this replacement kit, and using it again with a new bulb made all the difference. I could tell it was back to original power, and one session worked better than 10 with an old bulb. So.... if you have one and haven't replaced the bulb, DO IT! I only use it for my face so I use a minimal area. I am kind of the ideal candidate, with light skin and dark hair. I've never had burning issues but you have to beware when using something as powerful as this. It feels like a sharp snap with a rubber band but you shouldn't feel burned, I don't think. Anyway, this gadget lets me take care of an embarrassing problem at home instead of spending a lot of money going out somewhere to have it done.

Had to get replacement cartridges because this actually works! Definitely have less hair growth and is much finer. It is a pain that you have to keep zapping yourself over and over (it isn't a constant beam) so it takes quite a bit of time, but it does work and it's totally worth it compared to what it costs to get it done at a laser center.

I cannot be very certain how many flashes I used before having to change, but it seemed to be less than what was said. I did not count them. Having said that, I can tell the hair under my armpit is vanishing after using this for several months. The facial hair is less as is the hair on my arms. The tougher, gray hair is still stubborn, but I will keep at it in the hopes that it will soften and eventually stop growing so much. If you didn't shave close enough, it is powerful enough to smell burnt hair and can see it curl up as well. Ughh! I hate this hair. I would recommend this product with the understanding that it does not work overnight and will probably take over a year to see much success. However, having said that, any of this gone is a blessing.

I am a MtoF transsexual, and use this item on my face, it will not work on gray hairs, or dark skin, or even blond hairs, but will over time greatly reduce black facial hair to almost nothing. I can now after about 1 year of using it go about 2 days without shaving, I am shaving mostly gray hairs away and even after 24 hours my face is still soft and pretty smooth to the touch. my black facial hair is almost gone now.the cartridges say they are 1000 flashes. I had 2 that came with the unit I bought in 2013 and got 980 and 800 flashes out of each cartridge, I use about 50 flashes on my face during each treatment, and I know I'm not supposed to but I use this several times a week. this is more than recommended by manufacturer but I'm not burning my face.*******I want to say something about this seller that they are very much a 5 star company, we had shipping issues and they were top notch on making things right. buy from these people with confidence.*******

what a waste of money I am so annoyed bottom line it doesn't work it will take 5 - 10 trigger pulls before it works then it will work for about 3 flashes in a row then stop working and shut shut off. I got my flash n go a few years ago. I LOVE IT. I was so exciting that they had a cartridge that held so many more pulses. I bet I've bought 10 of the other cartridges (I've been using it on my family and friends) I only had one cartridge not work and I returned it to Bed bath and beyond and they returned it with no problem and gave me a new one. I've never to return anything to Amazon and really have no clue how to get my money back. This has just been a pain. I hope I just got one that was messed up and that all of them aren't like mine. Grrrrr

I use this during the winter and do not have to shave all summer long. We live on a lake during the summer so I am in a bathing suit all day every day. There will be a few wispy hairs that show up. I use it a couple of times during the summer just for some touch up. I used to shave every other day. I have not shaved in two years. The more you use it the less you have to. It doesn’t work in one shot. Best thing I have ever done for my vanity.

Seriously, these die after about 100 pulses. But I guess it's still more economical than buying a whole new device.
