So cool
It's a very good product, the cold retention is far better than most reusable cooler ice pack

Great for weekend adventures
My wife and I purchased these for use in our Yeti 35L cooler. We tested the use of 4 of them on a 10 road trip.We started by freezing them 72hrs in advance while using block ice to concurrently pre-cool the Yeti. The Artic ice packs gave us a lot more functional space in the cooler than using traditional ice products. We did not make it the whole 10 days which was knowingly going to be a stretch, however, these were great for the first 3 to 5 days in keeping our meat, eggs, cheese, oat milk, and creamer cold. After day 5 things were noticeably less cool but nothing went bad. Only the deli meat did not get eaten toward the end b/c we were skeptical.I will absolutely use these for weekend and long weekend trips. For the longer trips I think it would be important to have a stop where you can refreeze the packs and transfer goods into a fridge for a few days while you refreeze the packs or it may just be more appropriate to use a 12v fridge in the vehicle instead. These would also compliment a 12v fridge setup as well in order to offset the hours when a vehicle might not be running and keeping the fridge cool in the absence of an independent power source.

No more ice hassles
I have had several of these for a few years and now most times I don’t have to bother with ice. Think about that. I’m fishing every day in Louisiana with my 24 quart Yeti in my canoe or beach cart. Every day I switch out a big Arctic Ice, compared to how I would freeze a new block of ice every night to pack the next day. Keeps bait and drinks cold all day and thru the night. No more freezing up block ice for the next day. One less delay to get my line in the water. For a couple day trip with my 65 quart Yeti I put in 3 and that has worked well. Keep in mind I pre chill my coolers with a frozen milk jug or two before putting in the Arctic Ice packs. No matter what you use always prechill a cooler unless it will only be used for a short while. I also just bought a couple smaller AI packs and may add one of those to my fishing cooler along with the big one on really hot days. I often clean my fish on the beach and chill the fillets on the spot. Don’t know if I’ll need that extra chill under that circumstance but I’m ready.

Minifridge minus the noise!
I’ve had these two very large green ones for almost a year and I feel I can write a review now. I bought two of the largest green ones, and after 12 hours, I switch them. One is always in the freezer, and the other one in my room cooler. Keeps everything cold for 12 hours minimum (chicken, eggs, leftovers, drinks, vitamins, etc.) so I don’t have to deal with trying to make room in the fridge from my roommates’ items! All I put in the fridge is my one green ice pack (in the freezer) and they can use the fridge as they please! And I can get whatever food I want in my cooler (see picture) in my room! No mini fridge humming noise at night not letting me sleep (tried that, this method is no extra electricity AND it’s quiet in my room now). Thank you for this technology and wonderful ice packs!!

Use it right, and it works well.
This pack needs to be frozen on a low freezer setting to see it work well. In a nine hour day, the pack will melt and become all liquid, however, it still remains cold. I would recommend using this product with a cheap blue ice pack. The two will keep each other cold. I used the cheaper ice packs for awhile and they would melt and get warm. Using those packs with this product keeps those packs frozen longer. It is a quality made product and the shape makes it easy to use in the cooler. It is very thin and wide as compared to the thick and chunky other packs.

This Product Is Awesome! They Never Swell & Durable
These Used To Be Called (ULTRA ICE)Many Years Ago I Bought (4) Large Packs For My Huge Rotomolded Cooler Because A 30lb Bag Of Ice Costs $11 Dollars And Get This! 4 Years Later The Money I Saved Not Buying Ice And Needing To Drain The Melted Water! A 30lb Bag Of Ice Or 2 Large Of This Design Ice Packs Are The Same Thing In 3 Days Only No Melted Water.Last Week I For The First Time Dropped A Large Pack Frozen On My Cement Garage Floor And No Damage! No Leaks. When I Say Ice And Ice Packs Last 3 Days I'm Taking About In Summer Weather 90 Degrees Outside And My Huge Cooler Is In My Car Interior Maybe 150 Degrees So An Igloo Cooler Or Rotomolded Cooler? These Might Last A Day In A Junk Cooler! Being If You Buy The Most Expensive Ice Pack And Freeze It An Place It In Your Junk Walmart Cooler It's Not The Ice Packs Fault!
