The lessons are clear, there just needs to be more practice problems. I’ve made up others or downloaded to supplement.

This is the best math book I have found that offers a plain language explanation of these 6th grade math concepts. We tried other books before using this one and I wish I had started with this one! I would have saved time and money by doing so. This man explains the concepts in an easy way. We used an additional workbook just for the practice problems because this book is mostly for explaining the concepts which was greatly needed by us! I highly recommend this book for those struggling to relearn their math skills from the past and for those teaching their 6th graders these concepts for the first time.

I love this book. My son school has google chrome books with the math workbook being an online only. He has a 7" in screen which makes it impossible for me to help him with math homework. Last night was the FIRST time we haven't argued over homework. Easy to understand, Table of Contents in the back leads you right where you need to be. For those who struggle to see (ME) its perfect because its in large print. The only downside I can see is not enough Algebra but I don't care. I'm so impressed I'm going to order the Algebra book. Great Price too!

I haven’t been in a math class in over 6 years so I was interested in a little refresher book. This book covers so many topics. Each page has a description of the topic, a couple of examples and then a page or half a page of practice problems, with an answer key in the back. Topics include: arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, percents, proportions, variables, relationships, data analysis, coordinate graphs, geometry, finance, answer key, glossary, and Index. Has 240 pages of lessons.

I am in the process of collecting his books. I have pretty much decided I am using his books to teach pretty much everything he teaches. He speaks our language. I swear he can read our brain. My son is twice exceptional ASD/gifted. At 12 he reads his books and it is just so easy to understand. He tells math like a story we need to hear and we just get it . Two of mine already using his books and in process of trying to set aside money to buy the rest. I have four Autistic mathematically inclined kids. These are what we use and need. I have to have physical copies because my kids need to hold the books . Not digital.
