Recently I bought this speaker grille cloth to cover the equipment doors in my home theater room. I wanted the equipment doors to mostly obscure the A/V equipment inside, but also be able to "breathe" so that there's some air circulation inside, as well as pass IR remote control signals.See the included photo where you can see how transparent this product is. It's very transparent -- TOO transparent for my needs. I had to buy another brand of normal, old-fashioned speaker grille cloth to achieve the obscuring effect I wanted (the other brand turned out to be similar to the typical speaker cloth on the various speakers I own, i.e., less transparent, darker gray, and still able to pass an IR remote control signal).For some folks being able to see through this material may be a benefit, but in my case it was not, unfortunately. But if you want transparent, then this is the product for you!I mention this mostly because the product doesn't really look that transparent in the product photos.Note this brand of speaker cloth is also much thicker -- I'd say at least twice as thick -- as the old-fashioned stuff I bought, although it can be squished down to be thinner if you need to.

Worked for what I needed when freshening up the interior of the project car.

When not working, I like to watch movies. The LEDs from the mixer board can be distracting, so I use this cloth as a cover to obscure the lighting from the sitting position.Breathable so it allows heat to pass, and you can still see the LEDs and screen from above--keeps dust off the board during down time. Going to get a few more of these to cover the synths as well.Good quality fabric.Showing before and after covering, and an above view.

Only stretches one direction. Ended up wasting fabric because I didn’t realize it. Worked better having stretch across narrow direction of speaker. The original fabric it replaced stretched both ways. One direction stretch made it difficult to get corners flat. If there is a next time will try another brand. The fabric does look good otherwise.

I Wanted to cover my speakers inexpensively. These were a good value for the money. Very durable material. It was easy to install. I just hot glued it onto the back of the speaker. Sound comes right through it so the performance is good. There's not a lot of stretch to the material , so make sure your measurements are accurate
