Added the right touch i needed, but cost too much
I was somewhat disappointed in the color (grey) just was not a true grey but works for my toilet and new floor.Otherwise, i made sure toilet was clean, wiped with alcohol, let it dry then slowly applied the item making sure to bend so the adhesive would come alive to stick. Also bending while applying makes sure that it lies flat due to it arriving rolled and some if the edges maybe under.Im assuming that the negative comments where from people who didn't apply it correctly. Maynot have let it set in the enviro to assimilate to temp of area, did not bend backwards while applying to release caulking or area was not clean. Sometimes clean with alcohol then use eraser or something to scratch the area works. I tried to add close up and pic showing reason need to bend but could only add one pic.

A Very Neat Detail
Worked very well and is still in place after two months. I chose the black because no matter how much you clean a toilet, it retains stains in some places. Actually, the black is a nice accent around the bottom of the toilet. I did make sure that I got all the previous caulking off. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice near toilet bottom seal. I know there are other things in life more important, but to me this neat addition was very much welcomed.

Does NOT stick where applied.
Doesn't adhere. The adhesive is a relatively small/narrow strip behind a much wider (and quite nice) piece of rubber. Thoroughly removed all old grout around toilet, scrubbed the area with isopropyl alcohol three times (instructions really only advise twice), made sure the item was thoroughly warmed to room temperature, completely dry..... didn't stick at all!. I would never buy this product again, and am leary about possible purchases of any other similar products from this manufacturer. Now I either pitch my modest investment, or come up with a Plan B to see if I can get it to stick. Yeah, it's easy. Nope, didn't work for me

Gonna give it a try with silicone free caulk!
5 stars for the idea but I'm going to order silicone free caulk to help it stick since other reviews said it came loose in days after install. Hoping it will make my toilet look more complete. New guts & this should make it look like new!

Easy to install and looks great!
I tiled my bathroom without removing the toilet with vinyl tiles and this was the perfect finishing touch to trim around the toilet. Easy to install and looks terrific! Highly recommended! Thank you!
