Was looking for the perfect BIG travel bag to still be considered a ‘personal item’ on an airplane, so that I could bring a carry on as well and skip checking a bag (money saver ;), and this one is amazing! I couldn’t help getting the green color even tho I’ve seen reviews that the color fades, it looks so good tho! Fingers crossed my holds up, but otherwise the quality seems great. The size of this bag and its many layers of pockets and the ability to still call it a personal item is the selling point for me! I’ve flown a couple times with the clothes part empty, but a really good amount of stuff filling the rest of the bags many pockets and I had no issues wearing it onto a flight. It seems border line too big, nearly the same size as my roller carry-on, so I am hesitant to fill the clothes compartment and play it off like a personal item (won’t fit under seat), just depends on getting past the gate and the flight not being packed.. one day I’ll push my luck to find out if it is truly the “get out of checking a bag free” hack I wish for it..

This backpack is truly one of my best purchases. I had been using a laptop bag for going too and from work, but I wanted something that was big enough to fit my laptop, some folders and documents, and whatever else I would need in a long day. It works great for that while keeping it compact and looking like a normal size. When expanded it can easily be used for travel, and there is quite a lot of room for a lot of things! It works well for air travel as well. I travel fairly often to places throughout the day and also often for 1-3 nights. This backpack is perfect for that. It can comfortably fit a few days of clothes, my laptop, other small miscellaneous office items, my toiletry bag, and some more. If you really want to, you could (and I have) REALLY pack this thing close to the max and get more than a few nights out of it. It’s worth the asking price as it is very versatile, is made of quality, durable material, and has shown very little signs of wear and tear. Mind you, I use this at least 5 times a week for many different things. I’ve had more than one person ask me where I got this backpack from so they can get their own.

I specifically purchased this bag for a quick business trip where I didn't want to have a carry-on roller because I knew it would be a pain with a full flight both ways and trying to navigate 2 of the busiest airports in the US. I checked out ManyBaggers subreddit for suggestions and frankly, it got to be too overwhelming with all of the recommendations. I don't need a bag to carry the kitchen sink which I feel like a lot of the comments were just that. I did take a lot of considerations (overall size, capacity, expandable, features) and came to Amazon and started doing my searching and found this brand and bag, to which I never heard of. Looking on the subreddit specifically for this brand did not yield favorable results but reading the reviews here and taking a chance with the FakeSpot ratings, I decided to risk it and give this a go. The results? Very successful trip that was made so much easier with this bag at a fraction of the price of name brands. The bag I received certainly looks professional, clean, sharp and very well constructed - no loose stitching, no tears or rips, zippers work smoothly with no snags, the shoulder straps are padded nicely for comfort and the carrying handles are robust allowing you to hold a fully packed bag when navigating through the center aisle of an airplane without issue. I was able to pack everything I needed without having to use the expansion which was even better: 2nd set of shoes, clothes (including a suit jacket), toiletries, electronics and a book. Going through the security x-ray machine was a breeze, nothing had to be removed which made it even more seamless. Fitting the bag under the seat was a bit tight though - not because of the bag itself - but more due to the design of the row of seats (3 across) and where the support legs are positioned that attach to the floor. If you have the expansion open, that will likely force you to put it in the overhead and dependent on the airline, could pose an issue. All-in-all, my rating is 8.5/10. The external water bottle pocket is tight and will only fit a "normal" water bottle, not one of those oversized ones you typically find at the airport. You could perhaps use the pocket for an umbrella instead if you feel the need to travel with one. Also, I think the inside of the outermost packing section (not the bag-front) could use more organizational spaces especially for smaller objects. Regardless of those, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase and I didn't have to break the bank (US$200+) either!

First impressions are great! It’s the size and has the features I’ve wanted. Un-expanded it’s the same size as my existing Inateck backpack which fits under airline seats perfectly. The expansion zipper adds another 4.5 inches to the bag making it an ideal crossover luggage item for those 3 and 4 day trips. It says it’s a 45L backpack but if you do the calculations it’s more like 47 or 48 when expanded. I was tired of using a duffel bag for short trips and having to pull charging adapters and other items out of my backpack to put in my duffel and then later having to move those items from my duffel back to my backpack. This bag works for both. ___________ Update - I’m super impressed with how thoughtfully designed this bag is. For me it’s the perfect combination of a backpack and a small suitcase. The only critiques I can make are small. The shoulder straps could use a little more padding. It would also be nice if they could be detached and hidden away like some of the other convertible backpacks I’ve seen. That said however this is the best one I’ve found, and I have tried many others…

Habe den Rucksack für berufliche Trips (1-2 Nächte) gekauft. In Berlin ging mir z.B. das Ziehen eines Trolleys auf den Keks. So kann sich dann auch mal einen Scooter leihen, um von A nach B zu kommen😉. Die Tasche hat viele Fächer und es lässt sich alles super verstauen.
