Visual REBT - helpful, but too expensive
I held that book in hands, but didn't buy. Actually, it's "not CBT" - it is about REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) formulation of basic attitudes and healthy/unhealthy emotions. I have to say that visual presentation is very nice way to display such complex info, and pictures here are basically good for such a task.BUT - yes, I have to say it too - it's seriously overpriced. Dr. Windy Dryden usually includes a table with the similar descriptions in his books as an appendix, and it works great for adult public. So if you can buy it in print, it could be recommended, especially for teaching kids.

Great Book that has helped me greatly.
An easy to understand, helpful guide into the world of CBT. I found the book informative and useful, and the techniques explained are easy to apply to your everyday life. It has made me reassess many of reactions to certain things in my life, and I believe has made me a calmer more rational person. Worth a read

Nowhere near worth buying unless it's for a child
Ridiculous book if you understand anything about CBT. The book is better suited for children.

Practical ways to change my reactions and thoughts.
It is practical and shows how to identify reactions and change them bit by bit. I felt I was taking action just by scanning through the book. The pics are so helpful that I was picking up tips just by glancing through the cartoons.Love this book! After years of CBT this really helps put the stuff I learnt into practice. No more digging out the paper templates to look at core beliefs. Nope, I just open the book, look at cartoons see the alternative thoughts and take them with me.

The illustrations are an excellent tool for identifying negative emotions.

A brilliant book particularly for anyone new to CBT
A great book easy to read and the pictures really do help 'tell the story'. I would recommend this to anyone,looking for more information in this area or to give as gift to any possible cynics- they may be converted by a book like this which is practical and easy to understand.
