There are two sizes available depending on the size of your cat. Monthly treatments are recommended for optimal control and prevention of fleas. It is available in an easy to use applicator. Review: It really works! - I used to use Frontline (for years) and then went to Advantix II as the fleas in my area seemed to have become immune to both of these. This one worked. It took a couple of days to kill all the fleas on my cats, which isn't unexpected since I'm sure it takes time for the liquid to spread over their body. When they pick up new fleas, it is affecting them quickly as when I occasionally find a live flea, it's obviously sick, walks around in circles, and is near death every time. I usually find a patch of skin between my cats shoulders and my husband holds them and parts their hair so I get it really good on the skin and squeeze and rub at the same time so it stays in place. They don't even itch or it doesn't bother them when I put it on them. I can even go 2 months without having to put another tub on them. My cats have no fleas or other pests that we get here in the Deep South. It lasts for about 4 weeks & I reapply it on the first weekend of the month. It will also kill those little bugs that fell like scabs on your cat, whatever those are. It is easy to apply. It is a LOT CHEAPER here than at the Vets office...about half that price!! It doesn't say ticks, but I haven't seen any ticks on my outdoor cats either. If I don't use it on them they get ticks a lot.
